Lebron last night earned a lot of respect, I watched closely though the 4th quarter and all the OTs and no player has dominated like that since MJ in 1998(yes I said MJ) Last night he was just tearing apart Detroit by himself. When Detroit hit their 3 point play in double OT I thought it was over but he goes and takes on a double team then shoots a fade back 3 and ties the game? Instant Classic, top 5 ECF games ever if you missed it you missed the best game of the playoffs this year by far. Im surprised im saying this but the Cavs may make it the finals.

If Kobe was in the WCF and had a performance like that against the spurs he'd be getting alot of praise also. In the WCF it doesn't matter whose selfish, it matters who wins. Whatever you gotta do to win, is what you do.

If LeBron didn't do it himself, the Cavs would have lost. Sasha was in from the 4th to the last OT and he couldn't hit anything. Any time he got the ball and didn't have a clear lane to the hoop or a wide open shot, he would commit some kind of wild play and turn the ball over or get called for a foul. Then you had Drew Gooden who the last couple of games was shooting lights out but tonight went 3-10 from the floor and was missing "easy" wide open shots. If Z had the ball for more than 3 seconds and still hadn't shot yet, you could count on a turnover coming up pretty soon. Gibson had that one big shot at the end of the third to tie up the game, but that was only one of two shots he would hit the whole night. The Cavs, aside from LeBron, couldn't score at all at the end of the game, and so LeBron took over. Do you know how much he was being critized for not being selfish enough at the end of games. If he wouldn't have taken over, the Cavaliers would have lost. He tried spreading the ball around but some one would turn it over or miss and easy shot. It isn't that LeBron wanted to do it all himself, it is that he had too. He had like 5 or 6 assists in the first half, the rest of the Cavs were scoring then- LeBron didn't have to take over. But towards the end of the game, it was LeBron or nothing. And I am glad LeBron didn't take the nothing.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Did anyone else look at the boxscore and see that LeBron only had 2 turnovers last night? Thats amazing considering how much he had the ball in his hands, wow.</div>Yes, I kept saying that but no one pays attention to me. :no1:

I guess I worded that wrong. Lebron's performance last night was a typical Kobe performance. He was in a Kobe like zone where he wants the ball every possession and makes impossible shots look easy. I have a feeling that if the roles were switched, if Kobe had the post play Lebron did and was in the Eastern Conference, and if Kobe had that type of performance, it wouldn't be such a huge deal. Everyone would say, "wow, what a game" but it would be typical Kobe. Everyone is so antsy to annoint Lebron that he has a game like this and we start talking about best performances ever.I'm not one to complain about the refs, and rarely will you see me say something like this. Maybe Lebron wouldn't have been in such a zone if atleast 10 of those field goals weren't him driving top the basket after pushing off his man defender with no whistle. Call it superstar calls or whatever you want.

Don't forget though that Sheed had that "block" on LeBron in the fourth with under five minutes left in the game. That wasn't a block at all, I don't even think he got the ball during the time he grab/slapped both of LeBron's hands. Anyways, the Pistons went on a huge run and it looked like they were going to win the game. Then LeBron took over. LeBron was getting slapped around during his layups as well and didn't get all of the calls. Didn't the Pistons shoot more free throws than the Cavs anyways? The Cavs had almost ten more fouls called on them than the Pistons did. Sure there were some things that should or could have been called, but that went for both teams and you can say that any game. I know you aren't saying the refs are the reason the Cavs won, but I am kind of addressing that "thought" in this post as well. The Cavs won without the refs help- or LeBron won without the refs help, whichever you want to look at.

Sheed's block was a shooting foul, but it was an even trade for the And 1 Lebron had on Tayshaun when Tayshaun never touched him.

I know. I have no shame. But I'm the worst person in the world to be around when the Pistons lose, and I almost threw the clicker against the wall on every push-off. And believe me, there was alot of them.

Awesome Spam.Anyway, since we are on this subject of the Cavaliers. I'm very happy we pulled it out, but we needed offense and defense... So we could've saved ourself some timeouts IF Mike Brown played Hughes instead of Sasha. Unless Larry was hurt and couldn't go out there, he should've been in there for Sasha, easily. Hughes may not have his offensive game on, but he is better than Sasha on any giving night. I don't know, JMO but if Sasha is doing the same tomorrow he needs to be benched.

Hopefully this shuts up the morons that were so overly critical of him.</div>I'm still here. I never questioned his ability, but his decision making down the stretch. More than any other superstar he usually backs off and plays like it's the first quarter instead of taking over. I have watched more than enough LeBron to see this. Thankfully, from the game 1 and 2 clutch performances he learned his team needs him to put up big points down the stretch, and he came back with 2 great clutch performances and 1 stunning clutch performance. The kid is growing up, and while there still are (IMO) questions about his mentality down the stretch, his ability cannot be questioned.

Hotsizzle grow up bro.LeBron murdered the Pistons last night. He got to the rim at will, and with the exception of a block from Rasheed Wallace with about 4 minutes to go in the 4th no one even bothered to stand in front of him. When we did play a little harder on defense he would drain some crazy three point shots, or fade aways. It really was an amazing performance, one for the record books, and one that I will remember forever. However, the Pistons looked horrid out there. The final layup was him cutting into a crowd of ALL 5 PISTONS. I was sick with myself because he walked right around the whole team with very little opposition. Tayshaun also broke off of him a few times when he was going to the hole, maybe thinking he was going to pass, but there was not a chance in hell that after what happened to him last time in the Palace he was going to dish that he was going to pass the ball. I don't know why Tayshaun wasn't playing him harder. If the Pistons are to have a shot at game 6 they are going to need to play more physical. They need to make LeBron think twice about coming down the lane. I am not saying they need to do anything over the top or anything that might earn someone a suspension, but they need to foul him everytime he goes to the basket. He isn't that great of a free throw shooter, and if they hit him hard enough he might at least slow down in the fourth. As I said it was a great game for LeBron. I have never seen someone do what he did to a team that plays defense the way the Pistons do. I am not saying the Pistons are a dominant defensive team, but they are good enough that what LeBron did is even more impressive.
