You’re arguing semantics. Stats like true shooting are calculated for this very reason. Dame was efficient.

Since we're not playing much defense anyhow:

    Dame
    CJ
    Layman
    Aminu
    Nurkic
    Curry
    Hood
    Collins
    Kanter

Agreed. But that's not enough. He needs 12 - 15 shots too. Same with Nurk. Same with Hood.

Olshey gets us another offensive weapon we can really use and he gets 5 shots? Layman and Nurk with 7 each? It's a joke. We could have gotten Otto Porter Jr. or Dario Saric and it would have been the same thing.

Yes we should get more talent but that's not even the half of it. They won't be utilized properly as you see from Hood, Layman and Nurk. I wish this game was an aberration but it isn't. This is our offense.

We have to actually sign Kanter first. Sounds like he is headed to Boston

Meh, that aggressiveness led to some tough shots and a bleh FG% but it also got him to the line a lot, so that aggressiveness was efficient even if it isn't reflected in FG%.

Not really semantics. 'True shooting' was a stat made up to specifically include FT shooting. 9-22 isn't efficient unless you are shooting it well from '3' with volume. His FG% was 41%. Not a HORRIBLE not, but not really efficient either. Because Harden gets 18 FT's on a night when he is 4-18....isn't really efficient to me.

If that is 'semantics', fine. It is also a good amount of brick laying.

What? He won't play for us without signing? Damn selfish of him.

Can’t believe I’m still typing this because I’ve been typing this for I don’t know how many years now but Aminu and Harkless should never play together. Theyre both damn near liabilities offensively which puts way too much pressure on the other three, one of whom isn’t a shooter himself. Their defense isn’t good enough to make up for it either.

So pick one and put the other one on the second unit or out of the rotation. It’s obvious which one belongs where. Obvious to everyone except the only person that matters.

I don't know if it's been mentioned already, but we don't have a good track record with acquiring Rod's mid-season.

Objectively speaking Turner is better, at worst, equal. Curry is garbage.

No, I would say it was more the failure to trade either CJ or Turner at the deadline.

I've come around to that as well. It sucks because defensively they compliment each other beautifully as versatile defenders at 6'9 who can switch between each other and guard 4 positions.

We need to start Layman and Aminu.

How is Curry garbage? I think our bench would be better with Curry taking Turner's minutes.
