I dont think Yi Jianlin will drop past Charlotte...but other than that very solid mock. Also, I dont think Gasol will be that high, and Marcus Williams that low.

Chicago may or may not trade up and try to draft Yi because I understand they really like him.

Detroit drafts two big men. They need a backup guard with the second pick, someone like Morris Almond.

I think you put Conley a little high there. And Jianlian is going to Boston or Memphis.

Hmm, Joakim to Philly. Never heard of it, nice :happy0144:I don't see Detroit grabbing Jason Smith at 15; they have Rasheed and McDyess at PF and Smith probably won't be most effective at center. The Nets would probably pick a big man like McRoberts before a guard since Williams is pretty much their future.I personally don't think that Morris Almond will fall out of the first round and might go to someone like Phoenix or as high as 22 to Charlotte.

Your picks for Detroit are way off, we already have too many big men. Nazr Mohammed isn't going to sit his whole career here, I expect him to be able to start next season if Webber isn't brought back plus Maxiell, Wallace, Mcdyess, Amir Johnson and maybe Dale Davis if he resigns. Detroit first needs someone who can backup Prince and then we need a guard, not particulary a point guard if there isn't a good one there because we still have Murray and then Blalock who has been impressive everytime he has stepped out on the court. And once again I'm convinced that Conley is going to Memphis, atlanta doesn't need him and Memphis could use a point guard. If atlanta takes conley then I think that would be one of the dumbest moves when Horford is right there for you. They need Horford badly because they don't have any inside scorers who can take soemone on the block and score for them. If Atlanta actually cared about winning they would draft Horford.

Atlanta needs a PG more than Memphis does. I highly doubt we will pass up on a Horford, B Wright or a Yi Jianlian for Conley. Even though I really want either Horford or Brewer the most...id take both Wrights, the Yi guy over Conley.

What do you mean Atlanta doesn't need Conley? They've needed a good promising point since Jason Terry left, and even he wasn't that good in running the offense and making them successful. It's Conley or nothing at 3 unless they are absolutely convince that he will fall to them at 11.

Conley doesn't need a point guard, they have plenty of point guards on their roster. I think for this team they need to address their center position more than their point guard position and if they take Horford at 3 they'll still have a chance to get a point guard with Law at 11.

The Hawks should probably take Brandon Wright though and hope they get Acie Law like you said.

What PGs? JJ can play PG, but you certianly dont want him to start there. Claxton hasnt worked out at all, Salim Stoudamire can not run a team. ATL needs a PG, although if they can get Acie at 11, id do that and draft a big at 3. Although if they do draft a big it will most likely be Brandan Wright, not Hordord.

I don't think it would be that smart for them to take Wright because I don't think he gives them that inside presence like Horford does, drafting Wright imo would be adding another player that does the samething Marvin Williams, Josh Smith, and Josh Childress do.

oh that is wierd, I didnt mean to give detroit two PFs.. I shoulda paid even more attention to that since theres so many pistosn fans on here. Rodney Stuckey would be a player the pistons can take beacuse hes a much better upgrade over flip. Wow this is weird I gave them two PF/C.. but I expect them to take at least one PF/C

I like this mock. It makes a lot of sense. Only thing I see that I don't agree with is how high Marc Gasol and Tiago Splitter are.

If Noah slips to 12, you don't think there is any way Philly takes him? I disagree. I don't see McRoberts being taken at 12, but depending on what they get there, he'd be a good pickup at 21.
