    Can't "I realized we were never going to build a winning team in Toronto" be the reason he left Toronto, and "Lebron James was going to Miami" be the reason he chose Miami over any other potential destination?

    Exactly. Drafting & Trades are how Portland will have to become a contender.

    +1. He's not too attached to his players and is willing to shake things up. To make a trade, it always takes at least 2 teams to agree.... however, I really wonder where we would be if we had a GM that didn't always keep his good (not great) players off-limits in trade talks.
