Re: Which teams basically had a "last push" this year? Yeah...maybe New Jersey...Carter or Jefferson will be gone....Kidd is getting older (even though he is still an amazing PG)...They still have no good offensive big men. I know Mikki Moore is a spark plug, but he can't post up or anything...unless they can get great talent for Carter/Jefferson, I see them missing the playoffs next year..I don't have the heart to say Miami...I know that they will probably get a crappy supporting cast once again....but if D-Wade is healthy, then I think they will still be able to squeak in...Dude is just amazing....Their front office really has to do a good job this year cleaning up the mess that they have....They need to get rid of guys like Antoine Walker, maybe Gary Payton/Jason Williams, etc...and Kapono might be leaving....so they've got some work to do.

Hes just not a good coach...hes hurt the Pistons with his lack of good coaching. If you want to blame anybody for LeBrons night, it has to be the coach for not making the adjustments. I can defiently see the Pistons firing Flip this off season and hiring a more proven coach.</div> Oh come on. It's up to the Pistons to go out there and win, and they aren't getting it done. Flip Saunders is an alright coach, but it's not his fault. You saw how the Pistons did against LeBron early in the series, it's not Flips fault. I could see blaming Saunders if the Pistons were getting blown out, but these games are VERY close, you saw those shots LeBron was making, Tayshaun was all over him and there was nothing else he could do.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (CelticBalla32 @ Jun 2 2007, 01:39 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Exactly, Crawford is 27 and in his prime. Re: Which teams basically had a "last push" this year? I hate to say it, but Miami made their "last push" this season. I think Dwyane Wade will keep them in the playoffs but we really don't have much left outside of Wade. Shaq is almost done, I think he has one or two seasons left in him, the same with Zo and GP. This year, Kapono will leave and probably Zo and/or Payton too. Next year, we will probably let J-Will go since we cant afford to sign him to another big contract. Walker is sucking at this point of his career and we're gonna look to trade him. Our only hope for the future is that Wright and our 20th pick this year will reach their full potential and that Haslem and Wade keep doing what they are doing.

Umm Nenad Krstic? Why has everybody forgotten about this guy? For a 3rd scoring option he was averaging 16.4PPG before injury and has improved every year.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>I don't have the heart to say Miami...I know that they will probably get a crappy supporting cast once again....but if D-Wade is healthy, then I think they will still be able to squeak in...Dude is just amazing....Their front office really has to do a good job this year cleaning up the mess that they have....They need to get rid of guys like Antoine Walker, maybe Gary Payton/Jason Williams, etc...and Kapono might be leaving....so they've got some work to do.</div>I agree D-Wade will keep them always in the playoffs, especially in the East, and I agree they do need to get rid of some of those players. Luckily guys like Walker and Posey will probably be wanted by other contenders and the Heat will get some talent in return. Heat have a pretty nice young core, and I expect them to be, at the very least, in the middle of the pack in the East for quite some time.

And thats only a coaches call, hes the one who makes the assignments. They did put Hamilton on LeBron which I can understand, but on a few possessions Billups and Hunter were guarding him. Yeah they are both excellent defenders, but they are bothg atleast 5 inches shorter(Hunter being even shorter than that). Im not putting all the blame on Saunders, but hes not a great coach, hes okay. But how many okay coaches get to the Finals?

What would we think of Gregg Popovich if he didn't have David Robinson or Tim Duncan? Who knows. To a certain point, you only go as far as your talent/players take you.
