6 illegal immigrants linked to Mexican cartel arrested in NC for drug trafficking operation, officials say By Frank Miles | Fox News A massive drug operation with ties to a Mexican drug cartel resulted in the arrest of six immigrants in the country illegally. From left to right, upper row: Oscar Rangel-Gutierrez, Raul Rangel-Gutierrez, Regulo Rangel Gutierrez; lower row ( L to R) Rodolfo Martinez, Rigoberto Rangel-Gutierrez and Francisco Garcia-Martinez. Six illegal immigrants with ties to a Mexican drug cartel — a rival of the powerful Sinaloa cartel, whose notorious leader Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman was convicted last week — were arrested in an elaborate drug trafficking operation in North Carolina, according to reports. The massive drug operation included transporting large amounts of cocaine and methamphetamine across state lines — for instance, from Texas to Georgia and North Carolina, WSOC reported. The feds identified the suspects as Oscar Rangel-Gutierrez, Regulo Rangel-Gutierrez, Francisco Garcia-Martinez, Rodolfo Martinez, Raul Rangel-Gutierrez and Rigoberto Rangel-Gutierrez. “Members of the investigative team believe — based on wire intercepts, surveillance and other facts discovered from the investigation — that Oscar and Regulo transport illicit proceeds, derived from the sales of narcotics, when they travel from Myrtle Beach to Charlotte,” according to federal court documents, as WMBF reported. Misty Joyner, who reportedly lived near the home in Charlotte where investigators said Rangel-Gutierrez stored drug money, was in disbelief about her neighbors. “Just devastating,” Joyner told WSOC. “They were good people.” Rangel-Gutierrez is affiliated with the upstart Jalisco New Generation cartel, which has tried to stage incursions into Sinaloa territory, sparking bloody turf battles in places like Tijuana. The border city across from San Diego has become one of the world’s deadliest cities. Cancun club shooting leaves 5 dead, 5 wounded, authorities say By Katherine Lam | Fox News How did Cancun become Mexico's murder capital? At least five people were killed and another five were wounded Saturday after four gunmen opened fire inside a club in Cancun, Mexico, authorities said. The men, armed with a long gun and three handguns, opened fire inside La Kuka, a club located on a main avenue in central Cancun about 4 miles away from the seaside tourist hotel zone, Quintana Roo state prosecutors said. Two of the five wounded in the shooting remain in critical condition on Sunday. Cancun and Quintaroo have seen an uptick in violence, with federal authorities reporting 774 people killed in the state last year, compared to the recorded 359 killings in 2017. The violence may be due to reports of the Jalisco New Generation cartel moving into the Caribbean resort city and fighting other local gangs to gain control of the area. MEXICO MURDER RATE BREAKS RECORD WITH MORE THAN 33,000 CASES OPENED IN 2018, STATISTICS SHOW In January, three gunmen in Cancun shot and killed seven people at a home. The deadly shooting was due to an apparent dispute between street-level drug dealers and ordered by a suspected gang leader who has been linked to the Jalisco cartel. At least five people were killed when a gunman opened fire inside a club in Cancun, Mexico. (iStock) Homicide cases in Mexico rose by 33 percent in 2018, shattering the country’s record for the second consecutive year, government statistics show. The U.S. State Department’s travel advisory in November urged people to “exercise increased caution” when traveling to Mexico due to crime. “Violent crime, such as homicide, kidnapping, carjacking, and robbery, is widespread,” the advisory stated. Cancun remains one of the most popular travel destinations in Mexico and in the world.
Yet 6 more. I think this proves that the more than 11 illegally immigrated here are swarming with evil people. “When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. They’re not sending you. They’re not sending you. They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. ..." I can see why you don't trust anyone who speaks Spanish and isn't from Spain.
Too late. Maris has me suspecting every Latin person I see. We've simply got to get a neighbor watch such as they have in La Pine to keep these people out..
Five more? This means that the evil brown skinned devils are even rampant in Mexico, population 129 Million.
The problem I have even though as you say the numbers are very low is how many lives they effect once here in drug business. If there is a way to stop them and get them out of our country, should be a no brainer. I don't care where they are from even US citizens. If you are pion to be a drug dealer you don't need to live here anymore. Period.
That goes without saying. However, if they are U.S. citizens and they haven't been charged or convicted of any felonies in a foreign country then if we catch them breaking out law they must be incarcerated here.
President Donald J. Trump’s Border Security Victory National Security & Defense Issued on: February 15, 2019 I will never waver from my sacred duty to defend this Nation and its people. We will get the job done. President Donald J. Trump SECURING OUR BORDER: President Donald J. Trump is following through on his promise to secure the border with legislation and Executive action. President Trump was elected partly on his promise to secure the Southern Border with a barrier and, since his first day in office, he has been following through on that promise. As the President has said, sections of the border wall are already being built, and legislation and Executive actions are building on that progress. Executive action being taken by the President makes available additional funding to secure our border that is essential to our national security. LEGISLATIVE WINS: President Trump secured a number of significant legislative victories in the Homeland Security appropriations bill that further his effort to secure the Southern Border and protect our country. The funding bill contains robust resources and additional provisions to secure the border and strengthen immigration enforcement. The bill provides $1.375 billion for approximately 55 miles of border barrier in highly dangerous and drug smuggling areas in the Rio Grande Valley, where it is desperately needed. More than 40 percent of all border apprehensions occurred in the Rio Grande Valley sector in fiscal year (FY) 2018. The Rio Grande Valley was the border sector with the most known deaths of illegal border crossers in FY 2018. $415 million will go toward addressing the humanitarian crisis at the border by providing medical care, transportation, processing centers, and consumables. President Trump successfully rejected efforts by some to undercut Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) ability to uphold our laws and detain illegal aliens, including criminals. ICE funding supports nearly 5,000 additional beds to detain illegal aliens and keep criminals off our streets. Customs and Border Protection will receive funding for 600 additional officers. This bill will help keep deadly drugs out of our communities by increasing drug detection at ports of entry, including opioid detection staffing, labs, and equipment. A PROMISE TO ACT: President Trump is taking Executive action to ensure we stop the national security and humanitarian crisis at our Southern Border. President Trump is using his legal authority to take Executive action to secure additional resources, just as he promised. In part, he is declaring a national emergency that makes available additional troops and funding for military construction. Including funding in Homeland Security appropriations, the Administration has so far identified up to $8.1 billion that will be available to build the border wall once a national emergency is declared and additional funds have been reprogrammed, including: About $601 million from the Treasury Forfeiture Fund Up to $2.5 billion under the Department of Defense funds transferred for Support for Counterdrug Activities (Title 10 United States Code, section 284) Up to $3.6 billion reallocated from Department of Defense military construction projects under the President’s declaration of a national emergency (Title 10 United States Code, section 2808) These funding sources will be used sequentially and as needed. The Department of Homeland Security, Department of Defense, and the Army Corps of Engineers are working to create a prioritized list of segments and a work plan for the remainder of FY 2019 and beyond. New projects could include: new levee wall, new and replacement primary pedestrian barrier, new vehicle-to-pedestrian barrier, and new secondary barrier. NATIONAL EMERGENCY ON OUR BORDER: The President is using his clear authority to declare a national emergency as allowed under the National Emergencies Act. Since 1976, presidents have declared nearly 60 national emergencies. Most of the previously declared national emergencies have been continually renewed and are still in effect, after being continually renewed. Multiple Governors have declared states of emergency along the border in the past. Former Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano, who became President Obama’s DHS Secretary, declared a state of emergency along the border in 2005. Former New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson also declared a state of emergency at the border in 2005. Former President George W. Bush and former President Obama both directed the use of the military to assist DHS in securing and managing the Southern Border. Former President Bush declared a national emergency in 2001, which invoked reprogramming authority granted by Title 10 United States Code, section 2808, and both he and former President Obama used that authority a total of 18 times to fund projects between 2001 and 2014. ADDRESSING THE CRISIS AT HAND: President Trump is taking the necessary steps to address the crisis at our Southern Border and stop crime and drugs from flooding into our Nation. Cartels, traffickers, and gangs, like the vile MS-13 gang, have taken advantage of our weak borders for their own gain. Immigration officers have made 266,000 arrests of criminal aliens in the last two fiscal years. This includes aliens charged or convicted of approximately 100,000 assaults, 30,000 sex crimes, and 4,000 killings. Tons of deadly drugs have flooded across the border and into our communities, taking countless American lives. Methamphetamine, heroin, cocaine, and fentanyl all flow across our Southern Border and destroy our communities. More than 70,000 Americans died of drug overdoses in 2017 alone. Human traffickers exploit our borders to traffic young girls and women into our country and sell them into prostitution and slavery. Massive caravans of migrants view our unsecure border as a way to gain illegal entry into our country and take advantage of our nonsensical immigration loopholes.
Mexican businesswoman decapitated after ‘family wouldn’t pay’ ransom, reports say By Lucia I. Suarez Sang | Fox News Businesswoman beheaded after husband 'wouldn't pay' ransom The decapitated body of Mexican businesswoman Susana Carrera was found last week after her family was unable to pay kidnappers the ransom they demanded. According to local news reports, a note was left with the body saying she was killed because her husband 'didn't want to pay' the ransom. The kidnappers were asking for 4 million Mexican pesos, which the family confirms they were unable to collect in time. A Mexican businesswoman’s decapitated body was discovered with a note that reportedly said she was killed because her husband “didn’t want to pay” a ransom. The body of Susana Carrera was found last Wednesday inside a bag in a parking lot in the coastal city of Coatzacoalcos in the state of Veracruz. She had been kidnapped a week earlier outside a friend’s house where she had gone to pick up one of her children. Harrowing security camera footage showed her captors pulling up in a car, grabbing her and quickly throwing her into a car in a matter of seconds. The kidnappers left a note alongside the woman's body, according to local media, which read: “This happened to me because my husband played the tough guy and didn’t want to pay my ransom.” The family confirmed they could not collect the funds to the ransom, according to the Heraldo de Mexico newspaper. The kidnappers reportedly asked for a ransom of 4 million Mexican pesos ($207,000). Hours after her body was found, Carrera’s husband, Luis Manriquez, confirmed her death in a message on social media. “Thank you very much to everyone for your prayers and wishes for my wife Susana Carrera to return home. Unfortunately, she wasn’t able to and she passed away.” The couple were owners of the aluminum company Pezaliminio, which had an office in Coatzacoalcos. It’s unclear why the kidnappers targeted Carrera. Local media shared photos that purportedly showed Carrera’s body and a copy of the note. Prosecutors in Veracruz announced Monday that it had launched an investigation into how the photo was leaked to media, which were probably taken at the medical examiner’s office. “The Office of the Attorney General of the state will not tolerate situations like this one, which constitutes a re-victimization and a breach of the duty of secrecy within the investigation,” prosecutors said in a statement. No arrests have been reported so far. The number of kidnappings has reportedly risen in the city of Coatzacoalcos, with 49 reported in 2018. More than 160 homicides were reported last year. https://www.foxnews.com/world/mexic...d-after-family-wouldnt-pay-ransom-reports-say
25 MS-13 gang members deported from migrant caravan in Mexico, officials say By Jacqui Heinrich, Travis Fedschun | Fox News Fox News confirms Mexico deported 25 gang members linked to MS-13 who were hidden in caravan of migrants Immigration officials says the MS-13 gang members were agitators in a scuffle with officials at warehouse housing asylum-seekers; Jacqui Heinrich reports from Eagle Pass, Texas. At least 25 people affiliated with the MS-13 gang were deported from Mexico after they were revealed to be concealed within the caravan of 1,600 Central American migrants just across the U.S. border, immigration officials said Tuesday. The caravan first arrived in Piedras Negras, Mexico, two weeks ago across the border from Eagle Pass, Texas, when officials from the Instituto Nacional de Migración identified 10 gang members from Mara Salvatrucha, also known as MS-13. But after warehouse scuffles with police last week, officials discovered and deported 15 additional MS-13 "agitators," INM Media Deputy Director Aline Juarez told Fox News. In addition to the gang members, a total of 70 Central American migrants have been deported to their home countries, while about 1,500 have been granted humanitarian visas to move freely within Mexico. News of the deportations was first reported by Mexican state news agency Notimex. The news agency reported that deportations came after issues at a shelter in the border city of Piedras Negras. On Saturday, officials said the shelter where hundreds of Central American migrants have been confined would be closed by Wednesday. Police in Mexico step up efforts to contain migrants in temporary quarters in Piedras Negras; Casey Stegall reports from Eagle Pass, Texas. Coahuila State Public Safety Secretary Jose Luis Pliego told the Associated Press that authorities have taken some 400 migrants to neighboring states such as Nuevo Leon and Tamaulipas to be incorporated into the workforce, while others may seek other options to try to cross into the United States. Some migrants still at the shelter said they were not being allowed to come and go despite holding the permits, and they hope to leave as soon as possible for fear of possible deportation. "I don't feel safe here," Donaldo, a Honduran migrant who declined to give his last name, told the AP. The migrants have wanted to appear at the U.S. border to apply for asylum, but only about a dozen per day have been allowed to do so. BORDER AGENTS OVERWHELMED AS TEXAS BEGINS PROCESSING MIGRANT CARAVAN Last month, border patrol sources told Fox News that authorities arrested more than 100 people believed to be El Salvadorian gang members in the Rio Grande Valley Border Patrol Sector in Texas. Border Patrol agents in Texas report rescuing increasing numbers of migrants from the Rio Grande Jacqui Heinrich reports. The notorious MS-13 gang that originated in Los Angeles prisons before infiltrating the rest of the U.S. is mainly comprised of El Salvadorans. The Rio Grande Valley Sector is where President Trump visited in January amid the partial government shutdown to highlight what he called a crisis of crime and drugs along the southern border. Agents in the sector patrol an area of over 17,000 square miles in 19 counties, which includes 320 river miles and 250 coastal miles, according to CBP. The legal system could legalize freedom, and allow the over-100 million Americans (out of 300M population) who have been convicted of drugs to do what Americans want to do. But that would put millions in the legal system out of work, so we can't have that. The whole world hates us, except rich foreigners. A couple of centuries from now, schoolchildren will be taught that this country was evil. The so-called borders of North America will be under a nuclear heap.
Some mid east countries already teach their children that American's are the Great Infidels & Satan/Devils. Why is it so many from other countries want to come here or take refuge here if it was so bad.
Most of the people of the world in fact love America, love the idea of the American Dream of freedom and success, love the foreign aid America has provided them, love the protection we provide them from dictators and communists. They know America is the closest thing to freedom on earth, a concept they can only try to grasp in their imagination and dreams. Only communist/socialist dictators and rich foreigners hate us, pseudo-democracies envy us, and for roughly 50 years now our public school system has taught American children that America is evil.
103 illegal aliens arrested at Arizona border; CBP alarmed at uptick in border crossings by large groups By Frank Miles | Fox News Mexico announces plans to close shelter housing 1,600 migrants: Will they go to Texas? A group of 103 illegal Central Americans — composed of 81 Guatemalans and 22 Hondurans, and including 59 minors — was detained Monday morning west of Lukeville, Ariz., according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). The U.S. Border Patrol, an arm of the CBP, said agents using mobile surveillance technology first spotted the group — ranging in age from 1 to 56 years old — “as they walked through the anti-vehicle post-and-rail fence that delineates the U.S.-Mexico border.” It's unclear what is driving a sudden uptick in large groups in remote areas attempting to cross the border, but families -- many of them Central American asylum-seekers -- make up a large and growing percentage of arrests at the border, authorities said. “In the last few months, Border Patrol agents have seen an alarming surge of large family groups crossing the border illegally at the direction of human smugglers,” CBP said in a statement. “Transnational criminal organizations exploit the vulnerability of family groups with false promises of legal status and encourage dangerous border crossings, placing lives at risk.” Meanwhile, the latest groundbreaking of the Trump administration's border wall project came three days after President Trump declared a national emergency. The American Civil Liberties Union on Tuesday filed the fourth legal challenge to the emergency declaration. A group of 16 states, including California, New York and Colorado, filed a lawsuit Monday against Trump’s emergency declaration to build the proposed border wall. The lawsuit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, alleges Trump’s declaration is unconstitutional. All the states involved in the lawsuit have Democratic attorneys general. Trump inherited barriers covering about one-third of the border. His administration has awarded $1 billion in contracts to cover 97 miles, with the vast majority of the work being done to replace existing barriers. Work on the first extension of the barrier is scheduled to begin later this month — 14 miles in Texas’ Rio Grande Valley. Like I said, it's not a victory until the courts rule on it. I think we all know which way the courts will rule and that will be that.
