I don't care enough to point out that stuff. It's kind of like saying "hey, those dumb fans of sports team X make outlandish claims regarding their own players value/refs cheat/think their fans are the best!" Every fan base does that, it really is a waste of effort to bitch about it.
Well I had no frigging idea who he is. The media seem to think everybody knows this guy who has been victimized. I figured it must be the lefties that know the dude. If not, well.. do you need an apology?
Making up what? The phrase you are misconstruing is in the post right after mine (it was quoted by @bodyman5000 and 1 ). Not sure how this constitutes you making it up?
Are you asking if I personally need an apology (I'm guessing from you?)? Not sure why I'd need one. I think the media (Fox/MSNBC/CNN etc) will pick their "heroes" based on what their core audience stereotypically would watch/like, etc. Like Fox will pick a relatively famous conservative who was wronged, and run with it on their shows. MSNBC/CNN will do the same. The majority of the people who actually watch those shows, probably don't have any idea who those people are and/or didn't really have an opinion on the person/incident before they heard it in their own reality bubble. Honestly, if you asked me a month ago who Jussie Smolletts was, I would tell that I had no fucking clue who she was. And I'm not saying 'she' because he is gay, but due his first name being a little strange.
Anyone notice the video where the black guys are buying the MAGA hats? Now why would a store in Chicago have those? Where wearing a MAGA hat is sort of like provoking a cop. Not a healthy pass time. I am force to consider, they do indeed sell some MAGA hats. Do you all suppose everyone that purchase one is a Trump supporter?
Just curious, but why do you think Chicago wouldn't have a store selling those? I'm sure there are conservatives/Trump supporters in Chicago. I'm sure some buy it for ironic purposes.
I sure had no idea who the fellow is . It sort of annoys me that the first day I hear of him, that I also have to be told he is gay. I had no need to know. This is the news today. It is just part of the way the news becomes the fake news.
I don't care about his sexuality, but in the context of this story (real or not), his sexuality played a role and I believe that is why it was brought up.
No I don't think there are that many Trump supporters in Chicago. Especially those that would be willing to wear the hat. But if a store does stock them, I am sure they sell. Most successful stores do not stock stuff that doesn't sell.
There's a Trump store in his hotel there probably. Hell they were selling them at the little mom and pop stores in Hawaii
Really? Well perhaps in his mind it does, after all, he concocted the story. But, I have a MAGA hat, I never ask if a person is gay.
I'm talking about the context of why the news brought up his sexuality. He made a claim that it was a hate crime (beat him up due to his race and sexuality). Since he made a claim about the attack being based on his sexuality, that is why they would bring it up. At least, from my understanding, if the attack was motivated by A and B. So A and B would be mentioned. So if the attack/story was that he was attacked because he was black and say....jewish, they'd mention he was black and jewish and not mention his sexuality (at least as a main part of the story).
