The new Volvos have seats that look similar to the Ricaro. Are they?

Amway is nothing but a pyramid scheme. My mother got duped into selling Amway. Some of their stuff was even crappy and their laundry detergent was supposed to work effectively using a very very miserly quantity.
    Huge ripoff.

I don't know but even if they are they probably aren't designed the same. We don't get many Volvo at work

Volvo is famous for their seat comfort and safety.

Edit; By the way, still looking at buying a new Volvo. I'd like to get a fully loaded S60 with AWD and a T8 hybrid engine that you can plug in to charge the batteries. Don't know if my wife will go the cost but we can afford it so considering it may be the last car we buy, why not.

That's a sweet old truck. My favorite has always been the 1953-56 Ford F-100 as the lines were so beautiful on those trucks. My dad had a few and had one that was a show truck. He also had the beauty below that is a 1940 he built with a 289 Ford and C4 automatic.

How did this thread become a classic car thread?

Think Uber will accept my 1967 Alfa Romeo? It's super comfortable.

I had an AWD Volvo once before. A lady rear ended me on the freeway and totaled it. I never had a single problem with the AWD in the five years I had the problem. It took me up and down the steepest hills in ice and in snow.

Technically, the '69 was a long-tail Spider, I think they lost the rights to the Duetto name in '67. If I ever have another Spider - this is probably the year I would get - best looking with the bigger engine. fantastic.

All wheel drive is awesome. I was talking about Audi vehicles. They are a nightmare as far as little ticky-tacky things going wrong all the time, and they have the worst resale value of any vehicle out there.

I work from home or travel. My wife would probably like to see me in something besides sweats. I can’t imagine working in an office again.

I'm someone who will always hate working for someone else. I dont know what it is, but I have a burning need to make money for myself, not to make another guy rich off my labor.

True Blazer Fan has promise. Havent announced it yet but ove been working hard building a website and setting up a process so that we can make our own clothing brand. I already make apx. $400 a month off SeatGeek but its volatile. Hopefully I could get a grand a month from selling "True Blazer Fan" merchandise. $1.4K a month is a solid start, especially since I'd make another grand a month from simply going to school when I go back. Hopefully you guys will like the clothing we put out and is something youd want to wear. I'd also like to train for basketball but I don't know how to get started.

If any of you have any more ideas on how True Blazer Fan could make money, I'm all ears.

Yes, from the same article, as I said:

"The Spider was launched at the 36th Geneva Motor Show in March 1966,[8] and together with the Giulia Sprint GT Veloce tested by the press at an event organised in Gardone Riviera.[9] To choose a name for the spider Alfa Romeo announced a write-in competition, offering an example of the new car as a prize.[14] Over 100 thousand ballots were sent in, the great majority from Italy; the winner was Guidobaldo Trionfi, a man from Brescia, who proposed the name "Duetto" (duet).[14] However it could not be officially adopted due to trademark issues, and the car was named simply Alfa Romeo Spider 1600"

Notice that this entry is not 100% correct, in Italy until 1967 they did market it as a Duetto until they lost the trademark battle - from then on it was always Spider, everywhere.

I am a serial alfaholic Lanny, I tend to know what I am talking about when it comes to this nonsense.

Well, mine is officially a 1750, but I call it a Duetto as that is what most people do.
