I'm confused, the other thread says game 6, but it has discussion from game 5. I'm guessing it's a typo?Anyway, I'll just make one for tonights game. No time for anything fancy, but just a place to discuss the game.Pistons need to just
Let's go Lebron...You've got this man...Pull off the impossible, erase the critics, take the next step as a superstar, become the next Jordan...This is gonna be huge if Lebron makes the Finals.
David Stern is rooting LeBron on so much right now. He's rooting on the money. I think the Pistons will take this though. LeBron may be a little tired and if he slows down any from game 5, they can't win, because he was the whole team in game 5.
I can't wait for this game, I'm so pumped. I'm wearing my LeBron jersey, I want Cleveland to take this so bad. Come on, LeBron... if he gets passed Detroit at age 22 with this average supporting cast, that would be incredible. I have to say, my gut says Detroit though.
<span style="font-family:Book Antiqua">I'm feeling very confident tonight.1. I know Rasheed will come out with a vengeance, after seeing how pissed he was after last game.2. McDyess will be playing his heart out for sure, knowing this could be his last chance for a ring.3. Billups came out of his shooting slump the other game, will probably stay hot.4. Webber came alive last game.5. Lebron is tired after last game, and I don't see him having another superhuman performance.6. No way this veteran Piston team loses 4 in a row.7. Facing elimination, we have proven to prevail most of the time, exceptions being last year against the Heat, and in the finals against the Spurs in game 7.Call me crazy, but Pistons take this game by at least 5. If they lose, feel free to rag on me all you want. I am 100% confident we come out with a win today.</span>
Il be watching.Go LeBron, Go Cavs.Pistons are cool but I just have to go for the more exciting team in this case.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (arnob_detroitbasketball @ Jun 2 2007, 08:46 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Anyone see Tayshaun's block?</div> Yeah that was sick. Cleveland had a good 1st quarter, but the most promising thing about it all is that LeBron hasn't even tried to create his own offense yet. LeBron is playing as the set-up man, and all of his teammates are responding. Hughes and Varejao have been great, Sasha has been pretty aggressive, Marshall came in and got a block right away, Gibson knocked down those 3 FT's. LeBron hasn't even done anything to create his own offense, and Cleveland is playing well. Drew Gooden was the only one who noticeably made too many mistakes. That no-look attempt... come on, Drew.
I hate when these stupid technical difficulties occur. It takes the flow of the game out of the equation and everybody becomes a little stiff from standing/sitting.
21 Mintue delay .. oh god.haha I like the ... 10 seconds, 5 seconds thing by the annoucer cause the shot clock is F*cked.
Cleveland has been throwing away too many passes, they are being so careless with the basketball. They are softly lobbing the ball around and Detroit is gobbling them all up, they need to take better care of the basketball and make crisp passes. They are passing the ball like 11 year old girls, come on Cleveland.
Detroit will take this, everyone knows Detroit plays 10x better with their backs against the wall. Besides, that annoying game delay threw Cleveland in a funk, and Detroit got back into the game.
