Sounds like James should take his own advice and get comfortable with losing, get out of his comfort zone.

Well, I'm not (at least I don't think I am, heh) and here's why Sabonis was the 11th pick in the draft the year before. It's not at all uncommon for a Big who is considered a bit Raw to take some time to develop. I think just like with Zach Collins his worth as an asset wasn't about what they saw that year, or what he was but what they hoped he could be. The 24th pick or whatever it was (26th?), wasn't more valuable, a guy like Moe or Aminu who they probably didn't value very high and think their ceiling was much higher than they were already at it, didn't have as much value as Sabonis either. Also if they brought back one of those players they probably have to give up on other assets. Just like if Zach was traded last summer or even this summer he would be considered a decent commodity because there is still the idea that he's raw and has a chance to develop and he's on a rookie contract.

    So? I already explained this.

    Mitchell was pick #13.

He was traded for Trey Lyles and pick #24.

Even if the Blazers traded the #15 pick and CJ for George they likely could've traded some combo of #2o, #26, and a player for #13.

Jazz wanted Lyles who was a recent lottery pick and who was a great fit as a stretch 4 in their offense who's best two big men are plodding bigs.

We didn't have a Lyles that they wanted.

Lyles didn't really have much value and he only really played steady minutes after a bunch of injuries. Pick #20 and #26 in that draft would've been just as good as #24 and Lyles.

The fuck? Nobody was having a conversation about me?

I was having a conversation with someone else, that butted into by arguing a completely different set of context that wasn't even being discussed. You literally made a conversation that you weren't involved in all about you and your set of context that didn't even relate to what was being discussed. And then when I point that out, now every conversation is about me?

That makes less than 0 sense... congrats.

Look man. I read your post and the posts directly before them. I completely understood the conversation. My response was simple. Non threatening and about nothing other than having a healthy CJ. It went like this...
I simply felt it was a blessing to have a healthy player and am glad we didn't get mixed up with a player that now has bad knees. It's a very simple statement. Calm down and don't think everything is an attack on you or your position. It isn't.

Brooklyn and Sacramento breaking my stereotypes, and actually beating some good teams this year.
I'm going to have to start paying more attention to them.

    Nah, maybe next season.

Finally their lack of depth is showing. It seemed like Pop could roll anyone out there and have a good bench. Not this year. Not on the road anyways.

Sacramento might start to gel again here pretty soon. Next year or two.
Brooklyn could also get some time under them and make some noise.
Neither are championship teams but they probably will make the playoffs if things continue to grow. I actually think the Nets are better than the record this year.

:ghoti:, the Spurs got their backs broken in New York. Just not the same road team as they used to be.

Nobody's feeling threatened. I'm not feeling attacked about my position or whatever crap you want to make up.

You were responding to me, when I was talking about Oladipo being the more valuable trade chip in regards to PG, to which you responded by saying you'd take C.J. now because Oladipo is hurt (not what I was discussing), but could also be interpreted as you saying McCollum was the more valuable trade chip, especially since you half-argued the point I was discussing by bringing up how the 26th pick had more value than I was admitting.
