Stuck in an elevator Fully convinced that we're going down Stuck in an elevator Everyone's undies are turning brown... <ACCORDION SOLO>
Ya, this is the longest trip since I joined up. Before this was a 13 day trip waaaay back. In fact it was the trip Bassy got busted with the gun on our plane.
That is the only tough thing about the travel. Being away from family is really hard. Especially as the kids have gotten older. Missing games and plays and other events. I purposely turn down a lot of work in the summer to be around for them.
Why don't you take the whole family out for an elevator ride? Kids love pressing elevator buttons while bouncing up and down, and the wife will enjoy the clean, wholesome fun. She needs to get out of the house and inhale some clear, fresh air.
I relate bro, I traveled about 70% of my time for many years. My wife at the time, was a stay at home mom primarily, one of the benefits I thought if I had to travel that much. MISTAKE When we divorced, because she was primarily a stay at home Mom, I had to pay over 2K a month in Spousal Support for 10 years, even after she re-married. Another screwed up Oregon Law. Thats was on top of child support for two. Make sure your wife works and has a profession, in the State of Oregon anyway! Since then, I met a super gal/teacher (40 years) and we've been married many years. My sole mate. Between us 6 kids and almost 11 gk's.
