There certainly aren't any bounds to attorney/client privilege anymore. I don't give a crap about the dumbass-in-chief, but it really makes you wonder about the impact on what was once a gold standard in our legal system.
As I understand it, if you talk to a lawyer for the purpose of committing a future crime, the privilege does not exist. barfo
That’s true. The question is whether the government had reasonable proof of that before they raided Cohen’s office and subsequently compelled him to testify against Trump. Above my pay grade, but I would be willing to bet that issue comes into question when this whole stinky mess eventually gets litigated. If it does.
I too would like to get back to having a government that we can ignore most of the time. The entertainment value of today was very high, but I didn't get much work done. barfo
Oh yeah, another thing I've been seeing the past few days are liberal parents forcing their kids to watch this Michael Cohen testimony like its some kind of historical event, then posting it on social media saying that "we are witnessing history". That's how triggered libs are. The delusions are absolute. Isn't even a blip on the news more since there were no splashes.
Really? Trump is having a nice little meltdown about it on twitter today. The digging into Trump's finances has been delicious.
