How do you think he won the votes used in the electoral college to win him the Presidency? Was it by the convincing logic of his inane arguments? Could it have anything to do with Comey's inadvertent error in stating the FBI's investigation of Hillary? How about the Russian dump of private e-mails to Wikileaks? Are you saying that this couldn't have influenced the 70 some odd thousand voters that swayed the election from Hillary to Trump?
What has Trump done with N. Korea that is positive other than to tout the most evil dictator in the world?
Fast forward to Thursday in Hanoi, when, at a summit with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un, Trump said this of Warmbier and North Korea: "He tells me that he didn't know about it and I will take him at his word." Trump added that Kim "felt badly about it. He felt very badly." Trump appreciated the use of a double adjective.
See my only issue is I believe that other countries interfere with our elections all the time, the internet and connectivity have created a whole new place for warfare. I dont believe at all that Russia, Or China, or any of those countries actually swayed the vote any more then they normally do, oh and for the record America does that crap to other countries too. I also tend to think Trumps campaign probably was in cohoots with Russia. I just dont think it actually made that big of a difference. Could it have? Maybe, but I think saying he won because of Russia is extremely hard to prove.
I remember when Wikileaks was the champion amongst liberals when they were exposing corruption in the Bush whitehouse. All they had to do was expose a little Democrat corruption to be completely discredited lol.
This just tends to be the story of politics. When bad things happen they point to the last guy they disagreed with as the culprit, especially if they agree with the current one. The one thing I'll never feel sorry for either party for is when the president who's on their "side" gets picked on. Republicans spent most of Obama's years bashing him, trying to keep him from doing anything to run the country and are now upset that the Democrats are doing the same thing. It would be really funny if they didn't hold so much power of our present and the future of our children... Everything "bad" that happened when Obama was president, all my more left-leaning friends would point to Bush, but all the good things were because of Obama. Now the positions are flipped and of course, the Republicans are still trying to blame Obama for all the problems, even if Trump gets another term in 3-4 years they'll still be blaming the other side for their problems. No one owns their crap. The gears of government move slowly mostly because our elected officials spend more time keeping any of their colleagues from getting work done, then they do actually working on their own ideas. I do find it quite funny how whiny the Republicans have gotten though, considering they like to tell about the good ole days when every was "tough" and "true Americans"...
Enjoy your blindfolded life and the future wars we get dragged into. Exposing blatant and egregious corruption is now “stealing” lol. The politicians are the victims, not the ones they are lying to. That’s a good spin mate, maybe you should run for president.
There's a legal definition of theft and Donald Trump chooses to ignore it. Supporting a thief is something I cannot bring myself to do. Others have to make their own decision on where they stand on issues of both ethics and morality.
Not just taking Kim's word for it, but cavalier remarks about gee, prison camps are tough, c'est la vie
OW travelled to an enemy country that we are officially at war with, by his own free will, and deliberately violated their laws. Hard to blame any Americans aside from the ones who raised and educated him, and encouraged him to go there. Obama and Congress did nothing to help him, quite visibly ignored his imprisonment and torture. Trump worked hard behind the scenes and managed to get him returned to die in America. Nobody wins in this debate, but it's clear only Trump showed up for OW and his family.
