    And who's he gonna get?

Not AD. The Pelicans would've traded him there already.

Not Klay. The Warriors will max him.

Not Kyrie. If he leaves itll be to NY.

Not Kawhi. He wants to be the guy. Would rather play with Clups than Lakers.

Jimmy Butler? Hes already in a better situation.

All assumptions. Nobody said pg would stay in okc.

Shit can change. Lakers have a ton of flexibility and its southern california and a historic off season.
I dont see a point in debating this because we both know alot can happen in the offseason.

It’s kind of funny. Many NBA people (media and executives) think the of all the players in the league—available and not available—Dame is the one who would best fit in LA with LeBron. Maybe Kyrie if his head is on straight (iffy).

It wasn't that long ago Los Angeles shill Colin Cowherd was touting the Lakers as the #2 team in the West behind the Warriors. Silly Colin.

Meanwhile, I enjoyed the Suns/Lakers outcome to it's full measure. :smiley-bouncy:

And there is s reason why they do it. What lured lebron there? You think it was the roster?

La is la man. It will always be a destination until it falls into the sea.

It might be a little more clear cut if Durant leaves? The scenario i listened to was that they will keep the splash brothers together. Then retool the roster. That just makes more sense to me. Don't get me wrong... I don't listen to many scenarios on sports talk type shows. So i'm limited on situations and ideas.

That is probably true. Dame would be an awesome fit. Damian Lillard is the kind of player that is an awesome fit just about anywhere.

    Me neither.
I just know that they cant keep these stars together much longer if they all want max deals. Not unless the nba cuts rosters down to minimum 8 players or something. Lol.

If he really wanted to win a chip this year he would have come to Portland. The perfect cast around him and a coach that would allow him to play his style.

Not that it really matters but Durant will have Full Bird Rights this summer with GS now that he's been there 3 years. So they absolutely could keep Durant, Thompson, Curry, and Green all on max contracts. The guy they can't keep is Cousins (similar to our Kanter situation).

They won't be hard capped so yes they could sign as many minimum contracts as needed and will have the Tax-MLE. The Warriors are fine if their owner is still okay with paying the tax.

Well this just sucks then. Can we just quit and start again next decade?

Really though, do you think with those guys on max contracts they could still put enough role players around them to not ware them out with just mins and mle’s?
