Markkanen also has a double-double in five-straight games, which is the longest streak of his career and tied for the longest streak by a Bulls player in the last four seasons. With 20 or more points tonight, it will be the 12th-consecutive such game for Markkanen. He is the third Bull in the last 10 seasons with a streak of 10 games or more. In Friday’s quadruple-overtime victory in Atlanta, Chicago set franchise records for points (168), 3FG (21), 3FGA (48) and defensive rebounds (51). The Bulls also set season-highs in FG (56), FGA (119), FT (35), FTA (48) and rebounds (62). The Bulls averaged 116.0 points per game in the month of February, one of four teams in the Eastern Conference and 10 teams league-wide to hit that number. The 116.0 points per game in February mark the fifth-highest scoring month in franchise history. Prior to the 4OT game at Atlanta on Friday, Chicago’s 126-point effort against Boston on Feb. 23 marked a season-high. The Bulls had five games scoring 120 or more points in the month of February, which was tied for the most such games last month.
