Aren't the Angels gunning for a new Stadium? With that in mind I'd have to think Moreno would back up the Brinks Truck to keep Trout an Angel. Mindful though that in '18 Trout, an aging Pujols, abetted by the AL ROY and Simmons had a 1-11 record against the Yankees and Red Sox. Moreno has a long way to go to make that Angels Club comparable to the Yankees & Red Sox so that may well be a huge influence on Trout singing "Should I Stay of Should I Go". I heard that Trout was a Yankee fan growing up, but is a huge Eagles Fan. Going to be interesting for sure. As for the Yankees I keep my stand against high priced help when the positions are filled with younger talented players. Akin to passing over Harper and Machado because Judge & Andujar were aboard.
Yep to all the above. Yanx would have to jettison Stanton or DH Gian-K-arlo, more than likely to consider Trout. I doubt Trashman could afford both GS & MT, and if t/Yanx did sign Trout, and kept Stanton; such a signing could seriously jeopardize t/Yanx future, i.e. hanging on to Judge, Andujar, Torres etc etc etc... Trout's the only pillar holding the entire franchise up in Anaheim. Moreno's blind; fixated on $$$ signs with Ohtani's overhyped over rated inflated performance... Moreno would sign a blind one legged midget if he thought it would increase revenue... Btw- Thank the MLB Gods, Puig has left the Southland....
In the case of moving Stanton to get Trout we are now talking a serious upgrade.That is a mans job that Boy Wonder Cashman couldn't handle.
