God I love Cedar Point. I'm going there Tuesday for school. Let's make this the offical Cedar Point thread. What's your favorite ride at the Point?I personally love the Power Tower. Has anyone been on the Maverick yet?
I love that place, I haven't been there in like three years though. I remember I went there right after the Dragster was built and when it would go up, sometimes it would just fall back down.
That was one of the worst times of my life.1. It was raining/cold.2. Everytime I went to lineup for a ride, it got shutdown. This happened for the dragster, corkscrew, magnum, AND millennium.3. I lost my wallet which had 30 dollars in it.4. I blew out my arm throwing a baseball in one of the carnival game things.5. I was being harassed all day by Ohioans because I was wearing my Michigan hat and Pistons jacket.6. I got blisters on my feet from walking a ton.Worst day I've had in a while. Stupid Ohio.
I'm tired of Cleveland and people in Ohio acting like asses over this, wow your so better because you won a one f*cking playoffs series. Its getting pathetic, I guess we know what type of fans they have down there. Just listening to the radio and hearing about the crap Tiger/Pistons fans took last weekend its just crazy and no excuse in the world for people to act like that. Just pathetic...
We wouldn't have been nearly as bad as we have been if the Pistons and their fans hadn't acted like arrogant ass holes before the series began. Why do you have this holier than thou attitude? You're surprised that some kid wearing a Pistons shirt in Ohio a few days after we eliminated a team that we hate from the playoffs got harrassed? So you're telling me had Detroit won this series, and I went up to Detroit yesterday with my Cavs stuff on, I wouldn't hear any sh*t from people? Get the hell outta here.
I go to many Pistons games at the Palace and yet to hear one fan get harassed for having an opponent's jersey or whatever because security would step in. I can't speak for anyone else but myself but I know where to draw the line at, sports is about fun not making people feel horrible, harrassing them and all of that bullsh**. And if people from Detroit done that I'd think they were pathetic as well but I haven't heard anything close to the crap that went on in Cleveland this weekend. Even Combs got harassed at the game...
I do find it that people in Ohio have more hatred than Michiganders. It seems like every person who follows college football in Ohio absolutely hates Michigan, yet I'd be willing to bet 70% of Michigan fans just don't care what Ohio State does. The Cavaliers slogan was "Beat Detroit" for god's sakes. Chanting Detroit sucks tops it off. I have family near Cleveland, so I went to a Tigers/Indians game once while I stayed with them 3 years ago. All game long I was being cussed and harassed while I never even said a word. All of that to a 11 year old kid. I was told by a couple of hard heads behind me to-"F*cking go back to the hell hole in Michigan you piece of sh*t." While walking out of the stadium I had the same fate.Is there something in the water in Ohio that makes you guys hate everything in Michigan? I'd be willing to bet most in Michigan just don't care about Ohio, rather than want to blow it up.

Maybe.Give a loser a Maserati, he's still a loser, but he'll never act like it again.

I seriously will have just as much joy as had the Pistons won that Cavs series and ended up losing in the Finals...as how BAD the effin Cavs are gonna get pounded. I can't wait to see it.

I remember I almost got into a fight with a bunch of Tiger fans last year. They were walking around drunk, and we had won the game, so I was standing outside the gate just staring at this one jack ass with a Tigers shirt on, and he started to get up in my face like "what? what? We're gonna be in the playoffs, where are your Indians gonna be?". I just ignored him, but more of his friends came over and they started to really get close so I basically just nudged the first dude away from me and then they all started flipping out. A bunch of fire fighters came over to stop anything from really happening.I also almost got into a fight inside the stadium too. There is one of those fast pitch things that clocks your fastball, and these 3 Detroit fans were making fun of little kids who weren't throwing it very fast, and I told them to take it easy or go away, then they started talking in some gibberish about us beating them that night but them being a better team, I stopped paying attention. But then they got mad at me for ignoring them so they all came up to me and started yelling in my face until we almost came to blows before a bunch of the kid's dads broke it all up.There are ass hole fans in every fan base, not just Ohio.
