Not to date myself too much, but how about St. Elsewhere? For dramas, I would also vote for Breaking Bad and Lost. For comedy, Seinfeld and I Love Lucy.
Best new comedy - Atlanta. Holy shit, you can not binge watch that show. Too much fucked up shit happens. You just have to watch one episode and just let it sit. Very dark comedy.
Lost was good for so long, then it was absolute garbage. The ending soured me on it forever. Saved By The Bell.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer (actually anything Joss Whed0n does) New show - Killing Eve (only 1 season so far but so good I watched all the episodes twice)
Dragnet I love Lucy Star Trek Columbo Quincy MD Mash WKRP Gilligans Island Matlock Star Trek:TNG Star Trek: Voyager Cheers Quantum Leap Knight Rider Twilight Zone Outer Limits Alfred Hitchcock Presents The Munsters Taxi Roseanne Night Court Married With Children Northern Exposure Twin Peaks Saved by the Bell Home Improvement Full House Friends Sienfield Law and Order Law and Order SVU The X Files The Simpsons Bob's Burgers ER House Monk Breaking Bad Stranger Things Last Man on Earth The Good Doctor Project Bluebook There are so many more
Greys Anatomy is my wife's favorite show. She seems to be constantly cussing out Shonda Rhimes for killing off favorite characters then saying how amazing she is the next episode.
Two shows that are not talked about anymore that I really liked were Titus and Grounded for Life Current shows that I can't miss are GoT, Better Call Saul, Top Chef. Re-watching Deadwood now prepping for the movie. A case could be made Deadwood is the best show ever.
Deadwood was the best..pissed me off when they ended it without resolving the story..Ian McShane and Molly Parker were great in it.
When I was a kid we had a cook/maid who's name was Hazel. It was before the TV show. She loved little 12 year old Lanny and my younger brother. She got a pittance for a salary in addition to her room and board. Every Christmas she would spend a large chunk of her salary savings on Christmas presents for me and my brother. God Bless her, she was so kind.
I knew a girl named Hazel once, she was a pittance. I don't thinks he liked Lanny or his brother though.
No love for the Sopranos yet? That show we pretty bad ass. Breaking Bad was great. Seinfeld tops the list for comedy. Not sure about the best ever, depends on what criteria and what time of day you ask me, there are a lot of good suggestions in this thread.
