They were recompensed something of value to sign a petition that they had not elected to sign previously. LAPD called it a bribe. The DA called it a bribe. People were arrested for bribery. The Mayor of LA is a Democrat. As were the last 2, going back to 2001. 14 of 15 members of the LA City Council are Democrats. LA County holds 18 seats/districts in the U.S. House of Representatives. All are Democrats. California's Senators (Feinstein and Harris) are both Democrats, as is their governor (Newsom) and their previous governor (Brown). People were arrested for bribing people to commit voter fraud. The only people voting for things that involve them are Democrats. There are literally NO conservatives running any of the Districts in the entire area around where the bribery happened. So, I guess I'm asking, what are you trying to say and does this evidence help change your mind?
That would be one stance considering they dont really pay for thier military defense. But me? No. Not everyone in those countries are lazy. But are they independant? No. Does allowing that help to enable laziness or the lack of a neccessity to work harder for your safety? Very possible.

Payment comes from our tax dollars. The VA literally has government doctors. According to Merriam Webster, Socialism is "a way of organizing a society in which major industries are owned and controlled by the government rather than by individual people and companies". This says nothing about economic vs political agendas. All it means is that services owned and controlled by the government are socialist. End of story. The military is owned by the government. Now I don't necessarily subscribe to Merriam Webster but I digress...

The LA district attorney's office is not a bastion of Republicanism. I'm down for focusing on all voter fraud. It seems that many in here are not. I recall a post saying something like "stop focusing on voter fraud because only 36 out of a billion in the last 20 years have been fraudulent", or somesuch. I think we've seen that that is a truckload of B.S. perpetuated by the media. I don't blame people for believing it. I don't even care to remind people of it. I care to ensure that, once the information refuting the confirmation bias is given, that it becomes hard to continue arguing using a false premise. Like in this particular case. Which part of the proof of the bribery in a Democratic-controlled area doesn't refute your original points that a) it wasn't bribery and b) it was 'cuz 'publican?

I was responding to your posts in this thread about liberal cesspools and your presumption that they're due to republican policies, and that bribery doesn't occur to ensure that those policies are continued and expanded. That's all. I think that you can go back across my post history and find everything your heart desires about my disdain for illegal immigrants voting, disdain for policies in liberal states for expanded and relaxed voter ID registrations, for requirements to prove identity at the booths, for harsh punishments for those who restrict voting, for harsh punishments for those who vote illegally or abed it happening, and for Americans to hold tightly to the one thing that they still control over the government that is increasingly controlling them.
