I agree, one thing Vince can do better then anyone is dunk. If only he could learn a few more skills he might have a ring before he retires such as defense or clutchness in the playoffs.
If you didn't think Vince Carter was the best dunker in the NBA you should just stop liking bball and find another sport.
IMO(and other people agree) Vince Carter is the best dunker ever. Better than Dr. J(what we saw of it, people say his greatest stuff wasnt recorded), better than Nique, better than Jordan. Vince Carter would get his ass handed to him by these guys in a game, but in a dunk contest I think hes the best. He brought the dunk contest back practicly. And its not even what hes done in the All-Star Weekend...it the kindve stuff hes done in actual games.
It's no contest. Jordan and Nique were great, but they couldn't do what Vince could do. Sure, you could bring up the point that Vince had the luxury of learning from both of them, but I don't care what point in time you are from... nobody could do what Vince could. Vince used to throw down dunks in games that would get you a 50 in a dunk contest now, easily. He did it all so effortlessly too. No doubt in my mind, Vince Carter is the best dunker of all-time.
Vince Carter is a extremely versitle dunker too. He can do any dunk, power, finnesse, 360, windmill, tomohawk, reverse....there is not one dunk Vince Carter hasnt done. He can even do the leaner...and if you know what im talkng about, that is a badass dunk that only he and MJ can do(or have seen been done).
