This man knows what he is talking about, and he is widely considered to be THE definitive expert when it comes to the Use Of Force with a firearm. Probably the most noted and accomplished firearms self-defense expert of all time. 40+ years in Law Enforcement, and probably 1,000+ cases in court as an expert witness; defending both civilians and LEOs alike. He's written thousands of pages of study in everything from gun magazines to medical journals. He has numerous books available to anyone who is considering carrying a firearm for self-defense; most noted of which is called "In The Gravest Extreme". It is widely considered the most definitive study of self-defense with a firearm, and is still in print today.

If there is anyone in the world that you should take seriously about cases such as this, it is him.

It sounds to me like this officer acted appropriately. Don't shoot at police officers, and they won't shoot back. Seems pretty simple to me.

Or just obey the law in the first place. It REALLY isn't hard to do.
