No need for Caps man. Yes, you got that response. You guys were starting to focus on each other rather than the subject. While there wasn't any big insults, just you do this and you do that. I saw where it was going. I have seen where it goes. I hit the breaks. I am tired of feeling like a dad driving a car and looking over his shoulder at bickering childeren, yelling do I need to stop this car? I don't own the thread. But, I started it and I am going to keep it on subject and in order.
My posts were on topic. It gets real old watching guys like hjock, bj and OB continually go after me or others and then I get called out even when my posts are not in violation of any rules. If this is the way it's going to be then just ban me and we will be done with it. It really makes no difference any more as I'm tired of trying to figure out your guys rules are. Might as well just let the little clique run this forum as they seem to be able to get away with more than anyone in here.
I'm not banning you. You go after other posters too. I am not going to ban you. No one is getting away with anything. Everyone is getting called out. You are not being singled out by me. You are not a victim of bias. Hoops, OB, Bones, etc are just as implicit as you. I am tired of posters attacking other posters in the guise of attacking posts. I am tired of the elementary school esque bickering. We are all adults here. All of you need to start attacking like it. This back and forth between all of you is becoming more and more prevalent. It is ruining threads. It is fucking ridiculous.
I asked you some serious questions regarding my posts in this thread and you have yet to respond to them. I am asking what was wrong with my posts? I continually overlooked jocks snarkyness and I answered his questions. It gets old on my part as well as no matter what, the same guys keep coming after any little thing I might say. Just for example I make a joking comment to nobody but instead in general about tying with OKC if we won last night and jock takes it personally and thinks it's meant to be real (when it was obviously meant as joking) and about him and then responds calling me math challenged and other snarky remarks.. I would appreciate it if you would answer my questions as I can no longer figure this forums rules.
Not that this is my fight to fight, but hey its sunday afternoon and theres no game tonight. The way I see it is that you tend to get very defensive about posters who criticize the team. Usually instead of personally insulting or attacking those people you say something general that is somewhat snarky (tone is hard to decipher in text) In this case it was, “if they beat Phoenix they’ll be tied with OKC.” Which honestly when I read that post I took it as a veiled shot at those of us who voiced our displeasure at the losses to OKC and Memphis. Theres seems to be a pretty common theme here. This is just part of the dynamic of this forum though. Their are people who are critical of the team sometimes maybe more then we need to be (I can admit that) and people who seem to be critical of that group of people. There are a few people who tend to always be in some sort of spat with someone and then quickly do the “it wasnt me”, thing. At some point you gotta realize that even if you dont think you’re breaking the rules (you werent), or think you did nothing wrong, you and others may want to think about it for a second. If you’re always in some sort of arguement on here that is going past just “discussion” then while its not 100% on you, you do have some fault in it, even if its just reevaluating how you discuss things. If you are unwilling to even remotely say you have some fault then the issues wont stop. Cup, a lot of the word, “you” was used in a general sense, but respectfully I think you should think about it. While you dont instigate all of it, you do play a role in some of these arguements and its my opinion (so not very important) but you tend to almost always do this, “I said and did nothing wrong”, and you may be right, but how you say things can be just as important as what you say. Anyways this really got away from me lol.
This is strictly about this thread only and no, I did not instigate anything to hjock as he's the one that came at me and even insulted me by suggesting I am math challenged. It's this shit that gets real old. This is the bullshit double technical rule.
Ive stayed out of this but my observation is you have a couple guys that are very knowledgable that are pushing and shoving on the court. I say they both have been at each other because they are competitive by nature and stand strong on their opinions. There is not one poster wrong here, imo. It takes two to tangle. Just my personal take. Ive known these guys forum wise, over many years on Olive and they both are very sharp individuals and can usually back up their opinions.
