Re: LeBron - "My Teammates Are My Family." I think Lebron James is saying the right things, but it's a lot easier to say those things when you're playing for an NBA championship compared to being eleminated in the first round. also, you can go deep in the playoffs in the East with those kinds of scrubs, switch Cleveland to the West and I think they are eleminated in the first round.

Kobe has taken that Laker team under his wing and I dont think he wants to sit around and be big papa and help develop the younger players. And that is what was going to happen if he didnt speak out.
Re: LeBron - "My Teammates Are My Family." Lebron is one of the best guys in the NBA. He has a worst supporting cast than Kobe, but he goes further and does better as a teamate

That's before the playoffs or anything like that. I like that, LeBron is a great teammate. :happy0144:

It would depend who they played.I think LeBron is better at this "teammate stuff" than Kobe is. I don't like Kobe's player personality really and I like LeBron James and what he has done and the leadership he has shown. And with me being a Cavalier fan and disliking Kobe Bryant, of course my answer to this question is going to be biased.EDIT: <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Well it was Gibson who commented about how LeBron treated him from Day 1. Re: LeBron - "My Teammates Are My Family." This is what seperates the real team players, from the just plain old scorers like Kobe. Bryant will never learn most likely.Kobe seems like a ass to his teammate. He basically criticized them by saying that they needed to bring in better players. I couldnt see LeBron doing that.
Re: LeBron - "My Teammates Are My Family." Yall forget, Kobe gets Phoenix in 1st rnd, LeBron gets a Wizard team withoutb Arenas or Butler.
Re: LeBron - "My Teammates Are My Family." Thats a pretty petty excuse. LA would've lost to any team in that Western Conference in the first round.

We all know the West is much tough, but that post would be best for the Kobe vs. LeBron thread.
Re: LeBron - "My Teammates Are My Family." No, they wouldnt have. I think the Lakers couldve beaten Golden St., Houston and Denver. Im not sure LeBron could get through a Phoenix Suns team either. Its hard to compare cause there might be 2 or 3 teams in the Western Conference that are better than both Cleveland and Detriot...we just dont really know.
Re: LeBron - "My Teammates Are My Family." If Golden State beat Dallas, how do you think they could lose to LA? Dont come at me with the "contrasting styles against Dallas" stuff, they came out motivated. They were ready to beat anybody in there way.To say he could've gotten threw Houston is pretty foolish too. That LA team wasnt going anywhere, as long as Kobe was playing the basketball he was, putting up 30 shots a night, making about 10 and not involving his teammates as usual.I think Denver and LA would be a good matchup but Denver probably would've had the upper edge there too.
Re: LeBron - "My Teammates Are My Family." You guys must not watch many games. All they have shown the whole season is how Kobe has been a great teammate and such. He has helped the young guys along, always encouraging them on court, always sticking up for them in quarrels, etc... He has been quite close to them, especially Kwame Brown.
Re: LeBron - "My Teammates Are My Family." Well if it dosent show up on the basketball court...then I dont think it really matters. I mean of course the guy is going to be nice in front of the camera, and off the court. But im saying, he dosent play like a team player on the court.
Re: LeBron - "My Teammates Are My Family." Lebron is much more of a leader than Kobe was at the same age...He's probably a better teammate than Kobe..

Outside of Detroit, he had a relatively easy path to the Finals this year.
Re: LeBron - "My Teammates Are My Family." This topic isn't about how much of an easier road to the finals LeBron had than Kobe, but about LeBron being a better person in general to his team mates by treating them like family.

Re: LeBron - "My Teammates Are My Family." Lebron is so fake..it's kind of funny how people just eat up the oh hey look I'm being politically correct shiz.I'd rather have a guy that speaks his mind. And that article is BS anyway. You think Kobe's teammates don't love him the same way? Guess what...they do. They just ain't winning and getting all emotional with the press.

I was begining to actually like him. Then he elbowed a few guys, started complaining, and now the trade thing, and I am back to disliking him. Who knows, maybe next year.
