Russia's parliament has passed two bills outlawing "disrespect" of authorities and the spreading of what the government deems to be "fake news". The first ban refers to "blatant disrespect" of the state, its officials and Russian society, and repeat offenders face up to 15 days in jail. The second bill prohibits sharing "false information of public interest, shared under the guise of fake news," the TASS state news agency reported. Both new crimes carry heavy fines. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-euro...Jy8BfHEjcgi6c8O6tUWPYBFVKCeMhqDgOrwXrgrv05dT8
The Russian visa application office is open for business! Are you tired of liberals and fake news....like strong leaders who don't take shit? ...maybe, just maybe you'll find that home..that comfort zone...that place where an Uzi is a child's toy...where you can sell your sister for big bucks and drive drunk!
You know whats incredibly interesting to me, is how republicans and democrats both think Russia is terrible and corrupt, but they both also think that the other side is trying to turn the country into Russia. No joke Ive had conversations on the SAME day with people of pretty opposite political views who told me that the “other side’s” extreme ideals would turn the US into what Russia is today.
It depends on what the whistle is about. If it's a state secret then it's now, and always has been, against the law.
