Wow, he took that down quick, realized it was a mistake.
Donovan Mitchell post the emoji with the mouth zippered shut and that's it. Looked bad. Somebody got to him and he must have taken it down.

    Just a weird random thought.
These types of altercations give you an appreciation for Dame and how he conducts himself. I would be absolutely shocked to hear him say anything like that. Im sure he’s had racial slurs, been trash talked too, same things RW deals with. Dame is such a special guy, and we should appreciate him while he’s here.

Whys he a thug? He does charitable work off the court and has never been in trouble. He said something wrong on the court and you're quick to label him a thug.

    Hmmm...

And I think RW is absolutely in the wrong for those comments, but calling him a thug is wrong.

They were both in the wrong. People on Twitter acting like it's one or the other, when both of them shouldnt have said what they said.

Fan is short for fanatic. Fans say all kinds of shit to players and referees. We have no clue of what was said to Westbrook.

Utah is 8th now. Don’t see them getting to third. As for us, if Warriors are 1 seed and we don’t get top 4 seed, the 6th seed will be better than 5th seed.

Go figure. Cavs still own Raptors lol. LeBron should’ve stayed in Cleveland.

In the OKC/Portland game, Westbrook went 4 rows into the stands under the basket to yell at a fan. Don’t know if that was caught on camera, but I was wondering why he didn’t get ejected for it. Probably does this at every game to work himself up and just got caught in Utah.

If Westbrook can take a run at a player from behind and 'chuck' him into the floor, go into the stands in the same game and then the nonsense that happened in Utah and NOT get suspended, I'm wondering exactly what it would take for a 'star' to get a suspension? On the other hand, if a fan is saying racially inappropriate things, that fan has to be suspended as well. As for other crap fans say, that is part of the game. It happens at every level and both as a player and a referee, you just have to learn to ignore that nonsense. #SticksAndStones

He is a professional basketball player. He makes millions. He can ignore it. He goes at it with fans every game. He talks just as much shit as they do. He went into the stands last game against us to yell at fans. He jaws with fans every game I see him play. He is disrespectful and a bad sport.

The fans are held responsible for their actions. They are handed warning cards and then removed from games if they continue. He needs to be held responsible too.

Wen a player/or any person says :I'm going to f you up and your wife" tells me a lot about the guy. Those words seemed to flow out of his mouth to easily for me.
If he had said "Im going to kick your ass if you don't shut up" I could handle that and still not agree with it.
F u up and your wife is nothing less than punk street/gangster talk.

I don’t doubt that the fan said something that would warrant him getting kicked out of the arena. That’s not the issue. The league has policies about dealing with obnoxious fans. The issue is that Westbrook’s reaction was just as out of bounds as the fan’s conduct. Repeatedly and very seriously threatening physical violence against the guy AND his wife? C’mon dviss1, you’re a good parent and I’m willing to bet that you’ve told your son that someone else’s bad behavior doesn’t justify your own bad behavior.

If Russ had just told the guy to go F himself and the reported him to a ref or security, I’d back him completely. His reaction though was way out of bounds. The league will have to issue a severe reprimand as well as instructional information to players about how they are supposed to deal with abusive fans. Anything else could lead to these kinds of incidents becoming an even bigger problem in the future.

It's just funny that Russ is playing the victim card now with his teammate Fatty Felton sticking up for him like he's not culpable.

Utah has some of the dirtiest fans in the league -- that's nothing new given the cues they took from Stockton et al, but Westbrook is an asshole. He was antagonizing Portland fans and got in his feelings last week too. Dude has really thin skin and escalates shit.

It's hilarious to me that the Lakers have the exact same record as last year through 66 games at 30-36.

    Fuck the Lakers!
