Re: PFF's Mock My mock (the one on the left):http://proxy.espn.go.com/nba/draft2007/fea...844~18998~19101I tried to do mine based mostly on team needs, and then if an outstanding talent was slipping I tried to get him in
Re: PFF's Mock Sean Williams at 17 is kind of high, but it could definitely happen and isn't entirely unreasonable because he has a lot of potential and the Nets could use a big man. Plus, I don't see PHX passing up on Belinelli at 24 for Daequan Cook.

I could see him being the next coming of Q-Rich
Re: PFF's Mock Sean Williams is way too high, and Joakim Noah is a little high as well.Pistons take Thaddeus Young over Tiago Splitter, and Ante Tomic or Marc Gasol over DeVon Hardin.
Re: PFF's Mock - The Bucks won't pass up a great perimeter defender in Corey Brewer. They also already have Bogut, Skinner, and Gadzuric at the C spot. - Detroit will not pick two big men in the draft.- Jason Smith will not go that high. - I just do not see Almond fitting with New York, they have way too many guards (Francis, Richardson, Crawford). The Knicks play unorganized basketball, and Almond would be better suited for a half-court and defensive-oriented ball club.

They ranked 29th in team defense this past season, they let their opponents shoot 38% from the 3pt line, and they gave up a 104 ppg (by the way, Redd plays SG, and Patterson will bolt in Free Agency). Jason Maxiell and Amir Johnson appear to be their future frontcourt duo. The thing is, they have so many bigs, and it's likely Wallace and Webber will be productive for another 2-3 years. Same with McDyess. The backcourt coming off the bench - Lindsey Hunter, Carlos Delfino, and Flip Murray is definitely not going to cut it. Those guys never do anything when they play minutes and the Pistons constantly have to play Billups & Hamilton to sustain a lead. They need to have more productive and useful guards coming off the bench, plain and simple. Rodney Stuckey or Javaris Crittenton would be a great pick for the Pistons at 15.

We don't need another player to hog playing time from Amir and Maxiell, so then why would we draft a big man? We need a reliable backup to Prince, Delfino hasn't really cut it this season, which is why if Thaddeus is there at 15, we should take him, especailly if Law and Thornton aren't there. And at 27, I think Hardin is a bit of a reach there. And as for the Bucks pick, if Conley is there, along with Brewer, it will most likely be one of them.

It's his problem. Amir is a perimeter player. The Bucks really need an inside presence

And Amir is a PF, only rarely he'll get some minutes at SF.

Yeah, he runs the floor very well for a big man, but his ballhandling skills are well below par for a wing player and his shooting and his form (although he has range) needs improvement. The Pistons are bulking him up to play power forward and that's where a lot of his raw skill is.
