<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Jun 4 - Leon Powe feels confident he is a big part of the Celtics' future. It took him awhile to get down the pace and demands of an NBA season, but he's reached a comfort zone."The NBA is much more demanding. You have to know your stuff," Powe said. "They expect you to pick up on things right away. I feel good about things, but I have to keep working. I have to make sure I come next season even more prepared." -- Contra Costa Times</div>I want to hear what the C Fans think of powe- I never really saw him play in the NBA

He is an excellent player for where he is at. He is a good role player and he is a hustle player. He gets you rebounds/blocks/2nd chance baskets. Great guy too. If you haven't heard about his story look it up online. He's overcome so many odds. Anybody who watched the game against Golden State earlier in the season knows. The Golden State fans were chanting "We want Powe!" "We want Powe!" then he came into the game and got a huge standing ovation. He's liked by Celtics fans and University of California fans. I'm sure other people would love him too. Great guy, great role player. I hope he's part of the future.

Playa basically summed it all up. He's a great energy/garbage guy off the bench, he works EXTREMELY hard when he's on the court, and he has overcome an incredible amount of obstacles in his life. Like playa said, if you haven't read his story, you have to check it out:

The guy is one of the most underrated great stories in all of professional sports. He overcame so much in his youth and then had horrific injury problems to overcome. Playoff summed up his game perfectly. The guy is a role player that any team could use. By the way, my hat goes off to the Warriors fans who gave him a standing ovation when he came into a game out in Oakland against the Celtics.
