Depending on who they trade, it could create a major logjam at the PF/C spot. Who doesn't Isiah want in New York? Nevermind that they've been over the f*cking cap for the past -forever- and will be for the next decade, all the while missing the playoffs by longshots.

Right around 35 million. So, you can blame those 2 players for most of the cap problems.

Especially if they get Rasheed and he doesn't help them improve.

We have enough issues and characters and I'm not sure if we need another one. I'd honestly rather go after Rashard Lewis or Jermaine O'Neal first, then Sheed as the next option. Theres no doubt our cap is going down (about 50 mil this coming offseason, depending on what we do) to 88 mil or so, so we just need to keep knocking it down while trying to stay competitive.
^^ rather not why add another me first player to the team? Sheed is a probably the best veteran in the NBA right now. He has expirience and a consistent 3pt shot(Q IS NOT A SHOOTER) Sheed might be able to fill up Eddy Curry's defense and tutor him some things.

Only the Knicks and Isiah Thomas would be thinking about something as short sighted as going after Rasheed Wallace.

We also have Amir coming up who should be in the rotation next year as well. I would start Maxiell and Nazr and bring McDyess and Amir of the bench. I think Maxi an Amir could both contribute to our team next year.Of course the frontline isn't nearly as good as it was this year though with Sheed..but oh well.I'd prob keep #27 though I dunno.
For Godsakes Isiah, please just rebuild. NO MORE CONTRACTS. I've been praising Sheed as much as the next guy. But I just wanna see the young guys develop in NY. Get the salary cap down. And finally keep a lottery pick. Knowing Isiah, I think he'd give up a future UNPROTECTED 1st round draft pick to acquire Sheed.
