No previews but the interviews done by NBA Live 2008 sounds like NBA 2K7 so they are pretty much handing the compition to 2k.
2K actually works to improve each game, I hate NBA live because its the same sh*t just polished slightly.

I been a long time fan of Live and thought 2003 was the best one, but they are just horrible now :no3:. I tried out NBA 2k6 and was hooked on the first game.

He's been looking at reviews and all that for months so I'd trust what he says. I think the 600 dollar one just has much more space and looks nicer?
I dont claim to be an expert but I heard talk of them dropping it down 100$ to sell more next christmas with alot of new games. thats whats got me interested in it.
If they are I would wait to get a $400 one, but I want to take advantage of the playing time I have now since during the school year I can only play 3 days a week so I'd rather have these 6 weeks I'm home than less than 2 weeks to play during Xmas break....Oh well.I'm getting this game for sure.
I hear the gameplay on 2K is much more realistic, which is why Live sucks. I can't wait to get a 360 and buy this game.

First time I ever bought Live was the 03 version, the best game I had ever played for a while. Game was the best Live I have ever bought (I've bought every Live after that besides 04).I am going to get 2k8 when it comes out, 2k7 was amazing. I am so glad I got it.

The 360 has been out for like a year and a half and the price is still the same.
I wonder how the franchise mode will be...how was it in 2K7? Did they make the draft and the prospects better etc?
You can import the prospects from College Hoops, so I don't know about the prospects, but I thought the draft was pretty good. You only see the ratings of the guys you work out, but you can see their potential by grades.
