Early yes, and at this time of year shit teams play like champs, some contenders look like chumps. Mediocre players are bashing the ball while legitimate stars struggle. In spite of all that Yankee Fans are not happy tied for third with the Orioles and behind Tampa & Toronto. It's never too early to get collective heads from asses and win a game. If I were a drinker with 10.00 awarded for every Yankee left on base in Games 1 & 2 I could turn a pretty good drunk. .

Showers in the area start time might be delayed.

I'm pretty sure we will be looking at a late start to this one. Forecast has rain done by three.

Yesterday champs turned to chumps. Lucky us. It’s bad enough most New York area pro sports
teams are drudgingly bad where the air does not smell nice, and we all can’t wait for the
sweet smell of victories with our Yankees. So, what does our team do? They join the stink
stench that the other teams can never escape!

Come on team. You are better than this.

Nature: you motherless whore, thanks for the rain delay forcing MLB Network to show the Pirates & Reds. Batter a sister in a hore house than a friend as a National League Fan.

This year's starting out on the wrong foot.
Hopefully Happ will keep us happ hap happy ...

We lost many opportunities to see Yankee baseball out here on the Left Coast due to rain outs. When a Yankees game is scheduled on MLB, or FXSPT-1, and it is a rain out, it's also a missed and never to be replaced game because we don't get the yes Channel.

Not unless one has MLB Extra Innings. I had Extra Innings for several seasons. The price/cost is just no longer feasible..

We had a record year for rain out here this season spread out evenly over three months, a rare season of a lot of rain without the mudslides that usually accompany them. Mudslides often due to record fires the season before.

I hope the Bronx does not see record rainfalls this season...

Just saw an article on "The Score" to be of interest. Ron Darling has a book out called 100 Stitches Loose Threads (ect ect.) In it, Darling mentions and incident that took place during the '86 World Series. According to Darling, Dykstra let loose with a string of racial slurs and curses toward Boston Pitcher Oil Can Boyd. He (Darling) went on to state that he would not list specific comments to commemorate this "dark moment in Mets History. My initial thought was if you were that ashamed why did you put it in your book instead of dropping the dime on Dykstra. My next though was had black players like Strawberry & Gooden head his tirade seems they would have stuffed Lenny in a trash can. Just sayin'

I would rather have any announcer as pitifully pathetic and bad as they are than Rex Hudler.
Last I heard he went to Kansas City few years back from Anaheim.

Some of the worst Yankee games I have ever heard called we're by the Homer Hudler on Fox Sports West when the Yankees came out West.

    No Love for Staats either.
Just heard Austin Meadows HR call by DeeWayyyne Staats.

Dykstra was a beast of his own.
Oil Can Boyd should have been noted as of all time low from Boston. I always heard opposing center fielders complain about having to play the same position after dijkstra would leave a swimming pool of tobacco juice at his position.
It was of no surprise to hear Dykstra was a juicer. A juicer of several sorts.

I got to say Dykstra was a scrapper a baller and a good old-fashioned baseball player hustling kind of guy. I would rather have one Dykstra than 4 Machado's or Harper's....

Gooden and Strawberry 2 high-flying ghetto Cocaine Cowboys. That was a low time for the Mets, even though they were playing at a high level. All good things must come to an end. For those two sooner than later. 2 streaking Komets ice careers could have been Hall of Fame Worthy turn into total shit. That's what cocaine does to the mind...
