I think the Cavs are going to want to come out early to try to give themselves momentum the rest of the series.Cavs-88Spurs-83
Nice hustle by the Spurs, they are dominating the Cavs on offense right now. LeBron needs to start gettin some touches.Edit: What a play by Ginobili!! Did anyone see that??!! He basically dribbled through three defenders and outran everyone to the hoop!
I realize defense wins championships, but sooner or later one team has to start playing offense. 20-19 in the second quarter is showing that one of these two teams has to play offense. The Cavaliers are doing good of causing deflections and has gotten two straight turnovers, one which went for a layup.
Dang, am I being a homer here? Cleveland ain't getting no calls. I feel bad for the Suns, because those blocks that Duncan gets, are fouls, easily. He had one block, and it was on James... The rest are fouls, the guy should be fouled out by now. But whatever, and 3 point plays for the spurs.. someone tell me where the fouls are? Please. I just wanna see the fouls. Z is getting his ass kicked under the hoop.. No, REALLY! They are fouling him like crazy. Come on Cavs, gotta find a way.

I feel for ya brutha, you're going to get a whole series of feeling your team is better and got screwed. As for me, I'm enjoying the Diamondbacks game.
The Cavs really tried hard to come back at the end, but the veterans just stopped them. The defense the Spurs are bringing out on LeBron is really working and is definlatly limiting him. The key for the Cavs is to give Gibson more mintues and more shots. He's knocking down nearly all of his shots, going 6-8 I think. He's proving he's a big factor, and will be a big factor in this series if Brown allows him to.
Yeah they defiently made a push, but LeBron was off, and his teammates didnt play well in the 2nd half. Very boring game, I expect LeBron to come back strong though.
Cavsrules, there were few calls through the entire game, it had a nice, classic, low interruption flow to it. Especially in the third quarter. Nothing really surprised me about Game 1. For Game 2, LeBron can't make the same mistake he did early in the Detroit series. He has to score for the Cavs to win. Although it is very hard to break through Bowen then Duncan, he has to be able to find some sort of a loophole in the San Antonio juggernaut defense. If the Cavs go down 2-0 the Spurs aren't gonna fall apart like the Pistons did. For the Cavs, I think game 2 is a must win situation becuase San Antonio has absolutely no problem winning on the road.
LeBron forgot we had a game today...... He was like 0/9 before he made on shot. I know hes gonna come out in game 2 and try harder, but jeez. If you're not making anything, don't shoot it. I'll credit the Spurs defense, a little. But James missed so many open shots, if he made half of those we would've still be playing some basketball. Hopefully we come out strong in game 2.

The announcers were saying how he was just letting the game come to him, bullsh**. He drove in and got blocked by Duncan, he got a charge, he was losing the ball. The Spurs defense just outplayed him today. It's up to him to come out in Game 2 and deliver.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (AiRuPtHeRe? @ Jun 7 2007, 07:36 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Go Spurs!Let's see how good Bruce Bowen does on LeBron.</div>Bruce Bowen killed Lebron that first half, he couldnt get around picks, great job by Bowen. To add, the Cavs didnt do a bad job on defense eithier, the Spurs only have 5 players that scored more than 2 points. Outside of the big three, 2.
The Cavs need to manage a way to get Daniel Gibson in the game for a longer time. Only played 27 minutes, but still led the team in points.
