Our center depth is enough to win next 5 games. And just think, we’d actually win the division title again after trailing big against OKC and Denver a lot of the season.

I want both. No use getting to 2nd round if you can’t win when you get there. We haven’t won a second round series since 2000. That’s gotta change.

We are deep at center position. We can do this. Houston and Denver are absolutely beatable esp if we have HCA.

Was it realistic to finish ahead of Boston, New Orleans (who had no major injuries), and Lakers?

We could come up with a million unrealistic things that youve said that havent happened. Just because theres flukey things that happen here or there doesnt make anything you say realistic.

Houston has a very easy schedule. Clippers the toughest they face. Could realistically get #2 with Portland and Denver going 3/4. Guess we'll see in a week or so.

Most people predicted Celtics would have best record in NBA.

How do you define "realistic"? Seems to be a nebulous term.

Since Nurk went down, the team has played teams with a combined record of 122-188 (approx 40% winning %). The one team they played with a winning record (Detroit)? They lost.

Yes, it's mathematically possible to get the 2nd seed. But it's just as likely they'll get the 5th seed. If anything, it's probably more likely they'll get the 5th seed over the 3rd or 2nd.

That was also four road games in six days, so strength of schedule kinda goes out the window.

Still, I agree that 5 seed is most likely. But the Nuggets have been getting beaten down lately. I think that tonight's game will be very telling on what the final week will hold for them.

In my mind, yes. Without Nurk, I think the most likely scenario for the Blazers is losing both games to Denver, finishing 52-30. I think the Jazz will most likely win out, also finishing 52-30. And I think Houston wins at least 3 of their final 4 to finish 53-29.

I think the Clippers are the one team that can help us more than any other, since they host both the Jazz and Rockets in the final week.

We have a chance of apx. 12% at a 5th seed or lower. I highly doubt Utah wins out.
