<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Hill Will Play Next Season, Detroit Is A Possibility 8th June, 2007 - 12:48 pm USA Today - Grant Hill has decided he's going to play somewhere next season and there's a possibility the Detroit Pistons , his original team with whom he had his best years, might be the destination. Hill, who's a free agent after spending six mostly injury-plagued seasons with the Orlando Magic , was vacationing in the Caribbean during much of the Eastern Conference finals when the Pistons were upset by the Cleveland Cavaliers . "I only got the one game, Game 5 and the last quarter when LeBron (James) went off in the last quarter and two overtimes," Hill says. "I kind of read about what happened but I didn't see it, except for that one game. That one game looked bad just because LeBron went crazy (scoring 48 points, including 25 in a row and 28 of the Cavs' last 29) "But (Pistons president of basketball operations) Joe Dumars is a smart guy. He's had a lot of success and he's motivated to continue to win, so he'll figure something out." [READ]</div>realgm.comGood. Only thing is, we may draft Thaddeus Young, and now we will have Grant Hill.

If pistons get him there taking a big risk. He is getting too old and injured. I don't think the pistons should take a risk of signing a big contract on a person that might get injured for the season right when he starts to play.

The Pistons don't have the fleixibility to give him a big contract anyways. He would probably play for a veteran's minimum.

He won't even start, or be the 6th man. He won't sign a big contract at all, like Mobruler said. There is a risk of him getting injured, but the risk will be a lot smaller since he won't be asked to play major minutes. He'll also be reunited with Mike Abdenour, who he tried to take with him to Orlando and was one of the reasons he was hurt so much.

I'll take Hill back at this point, if I'm not mistaken he averaged 14 in the regular season and 15 in the post season. If he can average that we will have that go to guy on the bench who can give Prince the rest he needs. Even if we draft Young, Flip probably won't even play him and let him learn this season. That is why I am hoping Law IV will still be on the board by the time the Pistons pick 15th. HoLLa baCk

I like the idea of Hill returning to the Pistons. His defense on Rip Hamilton in the postseason was stellar and that could help with Lebron and like-sized players at the wing positions. Although, the quote used at the bottom of the article sounds like the reporter led him there; he didn't specify a team he was interested in.
