QUOTE

8th June, 2007 - 12:55 pm Bergen Record - The long-speculated return of Patrick Ewing to the Knicks as an assistant coach became a far stronger possibility Thursday. A spot on Isiah Thomas' staff is now open after Phil Ford, who came to New York as one of Larry Brown's assistants, left to take a similar job in Charlotte with fellow North Carolina alum Michael Jordan and his new head coach Sam Vincent. [READ]
REalgmI think this would be great for the knicks and the whole team. Ewing looks like a great addition to any team. He did good with yao on the rockets and now he will do good with the knicks

Agreed. Hopefully he can develop Eddy Curry to a much better player.

I'd love to see him work with Frye more than Curry. Frye needs some serious help with his game and Ewing would be a great mentor.

Didnt see to him play that much but I was named after him. Family always telling memories of EWing. I have the Knicks coplete history(10 disc series). I saw some of his best games and he was a monster.
