If you haven't seen this yet you should. I was a bit leary at first but I love Jermey Piven so I rented it last night. I loved it. Great plot couple of neat twists good action. Great cast.
I thought it was a pretty damn good movie. I've been watching some good movies, and this is towards the top of what I've seen recently.
What are you talking about? Entertaining it was, and I could watch it again but it was so far from a good movie it's ridiculous. The action was amazing and hte plot was catchy except it had alot of cliche moments and ridiculousness in it. Don't mistake an entertaining move with a good movie.

I don't think it was a bad movie at all. I remembered that I liked The 300 better than it as well. Before I had only remembered that I like The Prestige better. I do believe that Smokin Aces was a pretty good movie, though. It had a little bit of silliness in it, but I'm not sure about it being cliche. It is the one movie I have seen where Ryan Reynolds doesn't come off as a total douche, so that is also very notable.
Good movie. good action. I liked the cast, all the cameos were cool. made this post from my cell phone, odd
I think I had high expectations for this movie, it was Carnahan's return and the plot was insane but turned out false ads(I expected them all to converge at the same time and a firefest would ensue, not the case). Dug the cast, and was surprized with some casting(Joel Edgerton! Hard Word FTW and Matthew Fox's cameo). Good to hear Tremor Bros. getting their own film, to me they were the highlight of the picture. But Yeah, disappointed overall. Seemed more on style than depth.
