How has he shown that? Hes been a black hole who's bricked everything. Simons has shown more in limited time.
I'm not disputing he gave him an interview. I'm just saying most of it was already known and with that i will give Quick his credit for getting a player to actually talk to him. For a while there it was a question if one ever would again.
I agree that he hasn't shot well so far in his limited play but how can you even evaluate anybody playing 2 minutes here and there. He showed me enough in college and the g-league that he can shoot if give enough minutes to get in a groove. Plus I see if a player can get to his spots to score and he has shown me he can do that but in time he will knock those shots in. Now Simons has shown that too but to me Trent better rebounder and better at the defensive end. If Simons going to play back up point guard he hasn't shown and play making skills. Right now they are both shooters.
You argue semantics too much. Do I really have to take the time to say "He played well against one G-League team and another team that was basically a G-League team except for Towns and Wiggins (If he plays well)" just to appease you? Haha.
