“I felt like I was pretty free flowing with my movement. I felt pretty comfortable with doing a lot of stuff… Just tried to play a normal game,” McCollum said.

“If there was any pain, I wouldn’t play,” McCollum added.

Not having any sort of pain in his knee was a deciding factor in the 27-year-old returning to the court.

Could it be that all the (not there any longer) fools running the team are playing him because it's time to play him again?

Stotts doesn’t seem like the type that would force his players to play through anything anyway.

Calabro and Hurd are completely left out. Only love for the "Radio Announcer". No wonder we never get any mentions on TV.
You gotta give to get in this world.

Time to do a Meet and Greet with Calabro and Hurd. That is the only way we can make up for this obvious intentional shade.....

You know the way i understand it is he doesn't have that authority anyway. If the player is out because of injury it is the team physician that makes the call. Has nothing at all to do with standings or roster spots or wins and losses.

Calabro and Hurd were not here for the Roy years either. C'mon KJ!

Come on now if the doctor release him on minutes restriction to see how he would respond from his rehab. No body rushing him back if the doctor said he can go it up to him if he wants to try it to see how it feels. Stotts and the doctors didn't rush Harkless back when he was rehabbing so I almost think it the same case with CJ.

It's been my fourth-hand impression that the team allows the medical/training/physical therapy staff make those decisions. Such as, how many minutes to play Harkless, and when, over the past year. In the olden days they used to make guys play hurt, and I always hated that. Obviously I don't have any first hand knowledge, but I trust CJ waited or was held out until he was deemed fully ready to play, so as to reduce the likelihood of re-aggravating the injury before the playoffs.

    Just my two pesos.

Different medical staff and different approach to conditioning and rehab.

I HATED our old training and medical staff. They should have been replaced years before it finally happened. So I agree with you there.

It's my understanding that times and methods have changed.

Now I want to change my user name to Sub-Human Rookie Scum. Or maybe just Sub-Human Scum. Or simply, Sub-Human, since you seem to like fewer syllables ;)

It's not nearly the same thing. Roys knees were fucking gone. CJ knees are fine. He strained his knee. He took more than the reccomended time to come back. He wasn't rushed back. He didn't play full minutes last night.

    Quality work here.

Now you can say it backwards, which is docious-ali-expi-licious-nurki-cali-rupus, but that's going a bit to far, don't you think?
