Well this might sound stupid... but michael jordan played for the wizards while being apart of the franchises mangment, now why can't kobe do this if he feels the lakers can't make the right moves and he can, kobe has money. can't he buy the franchise if he wanted to..well become a assisnt gm or something.. it's a thought, is it possible to do this stuff though. just wondering... will it ever happen, who knows.
Re: Why Can't Kobe Just Do.. Actually, Jordan had to relinquish his position in the front office before being able to play. It's not allowed to do both. Coaching and having a management position is the only thing allowed. But not management and playing.

Just sounds funny that player would buy out a team while they are playing. Not saying its unrealistic but sounds funny.
