Great episode - great way to end a perfect day! Started by watching Tiger's epic Masters win, followed by the Blazers massive victory, got home in time to see the 9th inning of #3 OSU's baseball win over #9 ASU, and then GoT. Today was a good day!
It was pretty good. Although I thought they'd do something huge in the first episode, maybe a main character die. The only scene I wasn't a big fan of was when Jon and Daenerys went on a romantic ride together with the dragons. That was kinda cheesy. I liked how it ended, with Bran and Jaime looking at each other.
Yeah, when Jon climbed on the dragon and was like "whoa whoooooa weeee" with his legs dangling out, I was thinking, "What, are they flying to Hogwarts?"
I agree the Sadie Hawkins date on the Dragons was kind of corny, but we know that romance is about to go over some rocky ground when Dany finds out that she should be the one bending the knee but mainly it was a reunion special with a side-order of conflict and tension in the North. All the reunions were handled really well, but the Bran-Jamie reunion was all-star Cersei isn't going away either
Does anyone actually care about the Theon story line? I don't care at all about him, just a waste of a few minutes each time they show him.
No, not really, but they did hint at the Iron Islands possibly coming into play as a place for the people of the North to go to escape the White Walkers. They don't know they have an undead dragon though.
Yeah, I dont care much about him either. My wife and I have been going back and re-watching the previous seasons. Another story line I didnt enjoy much was when Arya was going thru her faceless man training. We forwarded thru those parts.
