ChicagoSports.com<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Marion is hardly the interior player you'd dish to for inside scoring. He's an energy, hustle player, and he does get his points. That would seem to make him a fit for the Suns?and the Bulls.Marion would nicely complement the Bulls' defensive, active style of play. Pairing him with Ben Wallace might be the Bulls' best option because they seem unlikely to make a deal for any of the big-name interior players like Garnett, Jermaine O'Neal, Zach Randolph, Pau Gasol and Stoudemire. The Suns are not about to give away Marion, who has averaged 18.6 points and 10 rebounds in his eight years in the league and is just 29. He's listed at 6 feet 7 inches, but with Wallace, Luol Deng and Tyrus Thomas in the rotation, the Bulls could field a formidable defensive frontcourt. And though Kirk Hinrich isn't quite Nash, the Bulls do push the ball, which would give Marion the open-court chances he has now with the Suns. The key for Phoenix probably would be Ben Gordon. He's in an uneasy position with the Bulls with a contract extension on the horizon and questions about whether he should start. Imagine the openings he would have playing with Nash and Stoudemire. And Phoenix has always liked Andres Nocioni, who could play the forward positions Marion played, make a shot and provide toughness.</div>LinkI think he would be a great fit for the Bulls. They like to push the ball and they play good defense, which is exactly the type of player Marion is. Yes, Marion is a little small for the PF position, but he plays bigger.Potential Lineup: Hinrich - Sefolosha - Deng - Marion - WallaceThen, instead of feeling like they have to draft a big man, it could open up their options at drafting a scorer like Acie Law, Al Thornton, or Marcus Williams.
I wouldn't be mad with Ben Gordon on the team. Put in a small ball line up.Nash-Gordon/Barbosa-Bell/Jones-Diaw-Stoudemire
I don't see the Suns doing this because they already have a player similar to Gordon in Barbosa and it when you factor in the pay raises that Nocioni and Gordon are in line to make it doesn't help the Suns from a financial standpoint. Also I think they would demand Sefolosha to be part of any deal with how hard they tried to move up last summer to take him.
I would love to have Marion on the team. There was an article about this either in the Chicago Sun or Tribune.

I wouldn't even trade Gordon straight up for him if it was possible. We'd be filling one whole and creating another one in the process. We have no SG if Gordon is traded; I doubt Sefolosha will be ready to play 30+ minutes next season.Plus I don't really think Marion is all that of a good fit with us. His game is really not in the post; and that's really what we need.
No he is not what we really need.. We dont need an other SF/PFMore like a PF/CMarion makes alot of money and we would have to give up alot to get himSomething like Gordon Noc Duhon Fillers.. Most like thabo ..I would raither trade Noc and filler for Zacor trade Gordon noc filler for gasol..marion isnt the answer here...
The Bulls need inside scoring and Marion doesn't provide that. It's really that simple. No way this happens. They already have Deng who is developing into a great player and plays the same position.

We could still draft hawes and be probably the most complete team in the nba.pg-hinrichsg-gordonsf-dengpf-marionc-wallaceanother very good trade scenario for the bulls that is unlikely though.

Marion brings nothing to this team that we don't already have. He's basically another small forward. I would rather keep Tyrus and draft a big man. Plus Marion is set to make over $16 million next year; that would kill our ability to stay out of luxury tax.

Marion wont take us nowhere......marion cant defend duncan.. kg or any other big PF out there... No to marion from me
