<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Former Rockets guard David Wesley, who signed with the Cavaliers as a free agent last summer, has been inactive through the postseason and said he is almost certain to retire. Wesley said he will consider coaching and is aware that there might be openings for a short time in Houston, one of the cities in which he would like to live. With the Cavaliers in the Finals, however, Wesley was not ready to make a move in that direction."It's always a possibility," Wesley said of retiring. "I'm not playing. Really, what would they want me back for?"I am (considering coaching). My kids are at that age (when) they want me home. I haven't had time to think about that next step. I'll wait until this is all over and make that next decision."</div>Link

^Watsupwitdat?I kind of feel bad for him to be honest. This is his first Finals right in his whole career and he's not playing. That's got to hurt. Mike Brown should play him some minutes, he deserves it.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him call it a career. He's been a solid role player with New Orleans and Houston for a few years now, but I don't think he has much left in the tank.

I remember on one fast break- nobody near him, and he layed the ball off the back board. He did it to hard though and the ball bounced right off, never even coming close to the rim. He is in the NBA, WTF? After that, I decided it was my duty to label him as a guy that can't make layups, even Eric Snow would have finished that.

Wesley was awesome with the Rockets, very valuable. Good shooter, solid defender, good leader, and just keeps in the flow of the game. He definately deserves PT in the Finals, even if brief. He should call it a career. He has been pretty successful and doesn't have much left in the tank.

I respect Wesley and all, and I know he WAS a good player before but he doesn't deserve any playing time unless we are killing the Spurs[Very unlikely to happen] Or we are getting killed.

My computer viewing hosting sites and stuff is all screwed up. Back on topic though, following up on what I said, I hate it in general when players do a good job in their career, and then they play so much until people forget about them and then when they retire, it is like no one really cares, you know what I am trying to say?
