What is the dystopian future? Robot overlords? Aliens? Ice Age? Nuclear War? Lets name some conspiracies, baseless conjecture, and what not.
This current measles outbreak is a false flag to get support for required vaccinations. This will eventually lead to the acceptance for required sterilization and population control.
The current border tensions and trade wars with Canada and Mexico are just a distraction for the fact that we really plan to invade and annex them both anyway...then they will build the franken robots that will turn against their makers...…….and I'll be fishing
That's okay. The memetic viruses that the government is feeding us through social media is scientifically degrading our brains to the point where all we can understand are ads.
It was around 11 years into the great experiment when the mscan2 chips began to malfunction. We had created a paradise unrivaled in humanoid history, where everybody owned at least 2 warthogs, and there wasnt a single mature tree without a scarf. I hardly remembered what human flesh tasted like. And mandatory vitamin injections were still free. Hacking had nearly been forgotten about, as computers were deemed unnecessary around '38. after we uploaded our brain renderings into the facecloud, president zuckerburg posted a royal decree outlining our new responsibilities: one must dig for at least 2 hours each day. one must choose one arm to rest on each sunday. knitting re-education camps now must have <95% participation (under 14 years old) in each precinct, as tallied each lunar. one must produce 3 tree scarves per day, without using the outlawed double overhand knot. triple overhand knot still most desirable, but not mandatory. minimum vitamin consumption was raised by 48%, and again by 48% each sol rotation. All nutrient harvesters must pass state inspection once per month to insure optimum grinding capabilities. scan visors were outlawed, then made mandatory (over 14 years old) but still optional for 10-13 year olds. it was hard at first, but we all agreed life was so much easier without any humans who were less than 10 years old. i mean, we HAD to agree, but most did so willingly. the malfunctions were inconsequential at first. a couple double overhand knots here and there but nothing too damaging. then came the 2nd malfunction. soon, nearly all humanoids started to question the leader. it was a sickness, that needed to be cured by any means necessary. fortunately, the mass delusion was snuffed out much easier than anticipated. after the war of 3 lunars, my index finger collection was the envy of the precinct. i wonder who has mine.
The only dystopian future I see as likely is a continued and increased disparity between the wealthy and the masses, eventually leading to a civil war. Resources shift to the top, jobs, due to automation, become more scarce and that divide leads to to a few uprisings. Both right and left fringes at first, then more and more people join as they see the dehumanizing responses from the government. That revolution catches everyone, food production plummets, starvation takes over.
There's no reason to control vegetarians with the exception of Hitler and he's gone...it's the raw meat savages that need some parameters...those metal dudes with the hair weaves and face paint
