Agreed. Health comes first. He still dunks once in a while but pretty rare. It looked like all of those dunks were in the Aldridge/Batum era. That's been a while.
The thing about Lillards dunks is he can get up there buts very telegraphed, you can tell his two-three steps towards the rim he’s going to try to pack it. Which most NBA guys are quick enough to see it and meet him up there. He doesnt try it a lot because I think he knows he needs space to get to it. He’s not like those guys who can just effortlessly jump out of the building, and thats perfectly ok he plays to his strengths and is a superstar dunking or not.
Yup. Most of them were from his second year, I think. And I think Dame is less worried about the flashy play now.
i just watched a video of skip and shannon and they were praising Lillard and saying how much of a piece of shit teammate RW is and how he is a stat padder. they also said that PG's mentality is starting to turn into RW's. it was nice to watch.
I agree. The thing I like, is he now does it when it really matters. A boost for the team. A boost for the crowd. It seems to happen, when they need that extra juice....
You're gonna have to help me on this one... Especially after that 2 for 1 play he made that created his game winner... When did Dame stop attacking the rim?
I mean dunking. Not layups. Specifically, if you go back and watch the videos of him dunking in his second season, he was landing on one leg a lot (which is what ultimately destroyed Rose's knee.)
Yeah, like Mo. I swear Mo looks like one of those ninja dudes in an old martial arts movie, when they just elevate to the top of a wall or building. Mo plants his feet, then suddenly glides up and stuffs the ball through the net, then jogs up the court like it was nothing.
But why did Mo not wear the Ninja Mo head dress for game 5? Did he get told not to wear it anymore after throwing it?
Bayless is eating crow until he pukes over the Thunder...people don't realize Skip was born bred and raised in Oklahoma City...all his buddies growing up still live there...he's an Thunder super homer to begin with. He worships Westbrook.
I’ve mentioned many times here it always looks like when Dame dunks it took a lot of effort and not smooth. That’s ok tho Curry doesn’t dunk, Kyrie doesn’t dunk, it really shouldn’t matter
When you hit 2 series clinching 3's, you don't have to prove shit to anyone. He can dunk if he wants.
He can dunk if he wants to, or he can shoot it from three Cause he helped us advance and since we advanced Well it's, all right with me. I say, He can go where he wants to, the rim or the 3-point line And they can act like his shot was just a bad shot, Though he hit it in his eye, Or he can dunk...
Very few will actually get that reference. It took some work. I read it once and though Hmmmm. Then i read it again and then a third time and Yep! Sure enough.
Sometimes those are my favorite posts, the ones that leave most confused, but leave the clued-in few with that feeling of, "yeah, that was intended for me".
Anyone who grew up in the 80's and watched MTV for more than 3 minutes will get the reference. Bravo @PtldPlatypus
