I don't remember who but last fall I remember having a top 10 players discussion and someone on here was convinced Al Horford belonged there. I still dont see it.

I dont have any thing on the list to really fight you on. I will say Embiid healthy is good but I think its pretty clear he’ll probably never be consistently healthy, too big, too many knee issues already.

Its too early but I think Jokic might quietly deserve to be in the conversation too.

Until he improves his conditioning he will continue to be overrated as well.
Even before he missed time late in the year. He looked winded far too often for someone talking about wanting to win league MVP coming into this year.

Jokic isnt as good as Dame though. The top 8 is the "Elite Superstar Tier".

Hes in the next "Borderline Superstar Tier".
    Jokic
    PG
    Kyrie
    Maybe Embiid

I think that team has talent but its one of the most random talent matches I can remember. its like a bunch of puzzle pieces from different puzzles... People point at Embiid and Simmons, but I don't know if Butler really fits in either, Tobias probably is the one piece who is well rounded enough to fit into multiple roles. In the NBA talent usually wins out, but I just dont trust a team who starts 3-4 guys who either cant shoot at all or who go on extremely long cold stretches regularly. Not one of them is a truly elite defender either in my opinion. Just a weird team...

Well Id take Jokic over those other 3. I think if he has another year or two under his belt and keeps getting better he’s going to be considered like Anthony Davis, but we’ll see.

    Honestly probably.
The only thing I'll say about that is Embiid is limited by who he's playing with.
Butler is not an elite scorer, he can score sure. But you don't go into a game thinking. 'We have to keep Butler from getting going or he's going to drop 50 on us.'
Simmons without a jump shot, forces Embiid & Simmons to play in the same space.
Hell I think the Griffin/Drummond P&R is more dangerous than the Simmons/Embiid P&R. Simply because Griffin can make a jump shot.
Harris is a good player who allows Embiid to play in space, as does JJ.

But really it comes back to conditioning. Guy looked winded far too often before he missed time to late in the season.
Rumors that he put on 15lbs sitting out games. Zero chance he has the wind to play consistently now.

Shouldn't Philly be trying to abuse Ibaka on the block against Embiid?
Like if you're going to start him in the 4th and you see that matchup...

First Dame, then KD, now Kwahi.
    Watch Giannis go off tomorrow.

Spurs look absolutely pathetic. Nuggets really not so good, just better of two bad.

Although I honestly think Denver is toughest match for Blazers of the four remaining teams, but we all thought OKC would be tough.

Yet within four. If someone other than Rudy Gay gets hot they can still win it.

WTF did the Spurs just do? That was the worst clock management ever.
