Cavaliers got a must win, duh, for 4 games in a row. I believe we can do it, but we need the real LeBron James to show up. Its time to start playing some good basketball. Less Turnovers, more points on the board!I wonder if Larry is gonna play.
Maybe his mind has been a little clouded with his g/f possibly giving birth at any moment..Now that she had the baby last night, maybe it will clear his head and give him some inspiration to go out and get us a win for his new son.
That should help him more, hopefully he can go out and play his game tonight and for the rest of the series. I can see us taking these next 2 home games, it's the road games that gets me worried. We just gotta play hard for 48 minutes, night in and night out.
Our gameplan was perfect in game 3, LeBron was having his way down on the block, our defense was stellar...We just have to knock down the open shots. If we execute the way we did in game 3, and hit a few more shots, we should be good.
Agreed. It worked well, our defense was awesome and we really stopped the Spurs. But, we gotta close out better if we wanna win. Brent Barry had a few threes, and they were both wide-open ones. Bruce Bowen hit a few of those two, wide open ones. But we gotta get this offense working, LeBron needs to stop waiting on the doubles and take it to Bowen.
I want the Cavs to at least get one game but I dont see it happening. The Spurs are all-around better and it just so happens the spurs best defensive player plays the same position as the cavaliers best position IE Bad matchup of teams in favor of the spurs. The Cavaliers need a star pg if they even want to compete with San Antonio. I think Chauncey would be a great fit and could hold down parker although whether chauncey leaves is a toss up. Everyone said Ben Wallace would never leave detroit last season also, but where does he play now?

It's not that easy. The Spurs, the best defense in the NBA, are centered around slowing down LeBron, and I think he'll have another tough night scoring baskets. All the momentum the Cavs had was taken away when they lost their first home game. I predict the Spurs to sweep.

If he leaves Detroit, he wont stay in the same Division IMO. I wish, though. Billups is the only Piston I like. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (GrizzFanTaylor @ Jun 14 2007, 04:00 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>You really think the Cavs can come back and take this series? I know how great the Spurs are, I know how great their defense is. But just like every team in the league, they have their weakness'. I think Cleveland can come out tonight and take this game, and then the rest of the series. But in order for me to make that comment, I would like to see how LeBron does tonight. Game 3, it was obvious that our shooters couldn't make a shot. I think we come out tonight and make those shots. If we lose, we lose. But I don't wanna go out having to watch this team miss shot after shot.
No problem in having prideFor me, I just can't see them getting one game out of this series. Ginobli had a terrible game and still won. That alone made me stunned...
Well I know that the Cavs aren't going to win 4 games in a row, but anything is possible. I still doubt it. I hope the Cavs win tonight so I can see another game.
Wrap this series up...hopefully the Spurs can end it tonight so we can focus on the draft now...The Cavs have disappointed me so far...
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Wrap this series up...hopefully the Spurs can end it tonight so we can focus on the draft now...</div>Exactly what I was thinking lol
This is just some ugly ass basketball. I can appreciate great D and fundamentals, but people were complaining about Raja's flopping and this team takes it to a whole new level. Coupled with their constant complaining even though they always get the calls(and their cheap shots) and I really hate the Spurs. With that said, they will sweep the 6th best team in the league tonight. The championship will come back to the West and then we(I) can move on. Finish 'em off please.
I for sure as hell feel bad for the Suns. I honestly was happy they lost, and I didn't really watch the Series. But watching this series, and seeing how badly the games are called is really sad. Duncan thinks he never fouls, and he cries even when he gets a call. Jeez. Cleveland has shot 4 free-throws, Spurs have shot like 18. Lmfao.
I don't want to sound like a homer, and take credit away from Parker...But I don't think I've seen Parker may a layup without taking 3 steps yet.
