I'm not taking credit away from the Spurs, in all honestly I had a feeling they would win the title this year anyway. But I def. didn't see a freaking sweep. Did they enjoy their 34 trips to the line? <div align="center"><span style="font-size:14pt;line-height:100%">Spurs Sweep To Replenish A Dynasty</span>By: CelticBalla32</div>The San Antonio Spurs are your 2007 NBA Champions, as they capped off their dynasty showcase with an 83-82 Game 4 victory in Cleveland on Thursday night. This title becomes the fourth of the last eight years for the San Antonio Spurs organization, all led by superstar Tim Duncan and head coach Gregg Popovich. This becomes forward Robert Horry's seventh title as an NBA player, as he won three with the Los Angeles Lakers, two with the Houston Rockets, and now two with the San Antonio Spurs. Michael Finley also achieved his first championship as a player, and Spurs guard Tony Parker said "we did it for Michael Finley."While Parker claims to have done it for his teammates, he was the real story, as he received the 2007 NBA Finals MVP award. Parker posted averages of 24.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game throughout the Finals. He capped off the MVP effort with a 24 point, 7 rebound performance in Game 4. Adding on to Parker's third title and Finals MVP trophy, he is getting married next month to his beautiful fiance, Eva Longoria.Tim Duncan may have struggled from the field from Games 2-4, but his presence was still felt, as he will go down as one of the all-time great big men to ever play this game. Duncan now has four NBA titles, three NBA Finals MVP awards, and two league MVP awards. Duncan claims that this one was sweeter than the first one because of the road they had to take to get to this position. Cleveland may have been no match for San Antonio this year, but one would assume that LeBron James hasn't had his last dance.

Clevland had a chance to be great but they picked Tim Couch. :no1: The Indians were a great great team in the 1990's but that was 1 of the most competitive eras in baseball when the American league was at it's peak. The Red Sox were great, the Indians were great, the Yankees were great. It was tough to get by the Red Sox let alone the Yankees.Be honest with yourself. When has their ever been a good Cavaliers team? This team is definitely not good because without Lebron they're eliminated in the 1st round.

In 90's, this team was simply amazing! Yet, we couldn't win a single title... The Browns, the story goes on and on. Players getting hurt, anyone remember Jim Brown hanging it up? So young, but he left the NFL to do other things. He was for sure top 5 RB's of all time. These are just little things I am pointing out. Oh, where did the Cavaliers ever have a good team? Many times. And many times we would get shot down by Jordan and sh*t f*cking "Shot". Not once.. But 2 times. Don't tell me this city isn't cursed, because it is.

They just weren't good enough to win it all.
Tim Couch was one of the best QB's in our team's history, it's not his fault that he was the only player with any talent on the team. He was the last QB to beat Pittsburgh for us, and also the last QB to lead us to the playoffs.

It will take you a long time, because as sad as it is, we haven't won anything since the Indians won a WS in 48. I don't even think I got the year right, but thats about it. We've had good, great teams.. We just got this curse on Cleveland. I love how ABC kept showing our history, but they didn't even show half of it. They said we won a title in 68, when they are clearly wrong. But whatever, if you 'think' there is no curse, then I guess you can think that. Us Cleveland fans, would disagree.

You just need to stop being so negative. Cleveland lost to excellent teams when they actually did lose. They never had ridiculous incidents occur year in and year out. What doesn't make sense to me is how you can say your area has no sports history when Cincinatti was arguably one of the greatest baseball teams ever assembled in the 1970's.Plenty of teams and cities have never won titles. How about San Diego? How about Kansas City?Stop complaining, Cleveland has plenty of sports history, you just don't know it or you can't appreciate it.
Cincinnati? How is that CLEVELAND? And how many titles does Boston have? All 3 sports, together.. Don't talk, I'd rather have 17 titles in one sport and have zero in one. It doesn't matter, Cleveland has 0, nothing... ZIP! Every single year for Cleveland, it's the same story. Check out the Browns, they sign all stars and make their team so much better... Guess what? Hurt on the 1st day of mini-camp. Its like that every year, we sign players and they go right out and get hurt. The Indians have always been good, but we got a lot of tough breaks in the 90's. Our team was most likely the best team in baseball for so long.. yet we have nothing to show for. Also, you say we have a lot of sports history.. What is it? Players being hurt? Season ending with a "Shot"... Or "A Drive"... or maybe a "fumble"?
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (CavsRules @ Jun 14 2007, 11:24 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>I'm sorry, with Tim Duncan on you and everyone calling fouls blocks, it's impossible for him to get going. Yet he hasn't even been a factor for us all season long, how could he possible get going in this series against Duncan? I don't know, but I do know the Cavaliers got some work to do this off-season.</div>Well, since Z never got the ball as a primary option on offense, it's not too surprising that he didn't have a good offensive series. Then again, who, besides James, DID get the ball in a manner other than as a spot up outside shooter?Maybe you figure out after a while that the offensive strategy of LeBron James takes the ball on every possession, and either shoots or passes to a spot up shooter when double/triple teamed wasn't working. The Spurs knew that all they had to do was pack it in and let LeBron either 1) Miss the jumper you're letting him have, or 2) Let him drive into 3 players, kick it and let someone else miss the open jumper you let them have. Some diversity in the offense would have helped a lot, I think. Cleveland played well enough on defense to win some of these games.
Mike Brown is a moron and he tries to have Z back-down Duncan, or any other center. What Z should be doing is stepping out and hitting that 18-footer hes so good at. Bring Tim Duncan, or whoever out and let LeBron James work on the low-block. If they double him, or even triple. Pass it out to Gooden or Z for the deep jumper. If we would've did that, our offense would've went better and we could've had a chance in this series. But Mike Brown didn't have a clue on what he was doing.
