I'm just posting this, I'm not saying he should be fired. I'm nuetral...Dime<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Blame is a complicated thing, especially in this purportedly simple endeavor we call sports. When a game or series can hinge on so many variables, the loser has a number of directions to point his finger: referees, weather, teammates, injuries, distractions ? anything to steer the blame away from himself. The ?07 NBA Finals are basically over, and whether the Spurs claim the trophy this week in Cleveland or next week in San Antonio, the time is coming when the Cavs will be looking to place blame.Mike Brown doesn?t deserve all of it. Anyone who knows basketball knew (whether they wanted to admit it or not) that Tim Duncan and Co. would win this series while making the Cavs look like a March Madness 14-seed trying to hang with a 3-seed in the process. And Brown isn?t solely to blame for how this series has played out.But when it?s all said and done, and the Cavs have wrapped up the best season in franchise history, Mike Brown still needs to be fired.</div>Read more

HELL NO!Mike Brown has made Cleveland into a awesome defensive team. We are talking about a team thats leader and best player is 22, doesn't have much help, and not to mention the coach is the 2nd youngest coach in the league. This team is going places, they are playing against a dynasty...the most experienced team, players and arguebly coach. Cleveland should not even consider this...

I seriously believe Mike Brown is the most overrated coach in the NBA. The guy won't make adjustments when he needs to, and pretty much lets LeBron run the show. I think they were lucky to beat Detroit, considering all the after-series interviews etc. The Pistons beat themselves. If Cleveland ever wants to win a championship, they are going to need a better coach.

They are an very good defensive team...because of Mike Brown. They need better players along side Bron so they can run some different plays besides letting Bron create.

I like the man's defensive mindset and what he brings there. But, this team seriously needs a different coach on the offensive end. I think Mike Brown would be a good assistant for this team, but I am not sold on him being the head coach. I don't want him running the offense, but I do want him to stay- is what I am basically saying.

While I really dislike Mike Brown, he did turn us into one of the best defensive teams in the NBA, and you can't argue with success. I just think mixing it up and bringing in a new coach will falter our progress, and we have made a ton of progress from last year to this year.

How I see it is, Mike Brown has instilled defense into this team, and it has showed. Now, they should go out and try to find a coach who can instill some kind of offensive style into their team, instead of their "give the ball to LeBron and let him work" mentality. They will still have the defensive mind-set they learned with Mike Brown, as long as they find a coach who won't try to strp them of the defense Brown taught them.

I dislike Mike Brown's offensive play-book[what playbook?] but hes defense has been great, and it has helped this team out and it's the main reason were in the Finals, IMO. But we need offense if we ever wanna win a championship, I know defense wins championships, but if you don't put some points on the board.. How you gonna win? Need a little bit of both, so Mike needs to find a way to fix his offense, or Ferry needs to bring in a offensive coach, or a new coach and have Mike Brown teach just the defense. I don't think he should be fired, and he wont be. You just don't take a team to the finals and then get fired.

NO way. Just two seasons ago people would have been amazed that the Cavs reached the playoffs, besides LeBron, hes got virtually zero talent to work with.

ZERO TALENT? I doubt that. Larry Hughes is pretty good, Gooden's got some talent, we got 2 young talented rookies, Sasha is pretty talented too. Just don't see we have zero talent, because thats not true at all. Mike needs help with his offense, no doubt about it.

If Brown would have started fouling earlier, they could have definatly won this game. It's possibly your last game of the season, you have to lengthen it as much as you can. All of those seconds were crucial.

If LeBron didnt turn it over two times with NOBODY around him, they probably wouldve won the game. I think Cleveland got as close as they could at the end...

<span style="font-family:Arial">Mike Brown isn't a very good head coach, he's built for an assistant job. His decision making is very questionable at times, which he displayed during the NBA Finals. Yes, he is a good defensive coach. But he can't be one-dimensional, not if the Cavs want to be serious contenders. The players love Coach Brown though, that's a major reason why they are keeping him around. He has a great relationship with his players, he always has.People need to stop blaming Brown during the NBA Finals, it's not his fault that Cleveland lost this series. I don't see them beating the Spurs regardless of who their coach is, the Spurs are to talented as a team.</span>

People will compare James to Jordan, and Wade. Yet, James only had.... No one? He couldn't do it alone, but he did get to the Finals alone. On Mike Brown, he shouldn't leave. But he should be kicked over to defensive coach.

Michael Jordan would not have been able to single handedly beat Magic, Kareem and Worthy.
