CJ had a great game last night and Aminu couldn't hit anything last night and Harkless had Double Double so he was involved on both end.

And it makes no sense because it was so obvious that we needed fresh legs.

It must have been tough for him sitting through three overtimes.

There is probably no such thing as "Playoff Aminu". It's most likely just variance. CJ & Dame have to take a lot of shots because those are our only two creators. But when Aminu does get a shot, people also should be happy, because when he does he is significantly more efficient than CJ.

Here is one of my biggest pet peves
You would think an Epic 4 OT game in the playoffs would be top billing on ESPN. Seriously if this game was GSW vs Houston Rockets they would be all over it.
If you go to the ESPN Home page the top story is about James Harden
    http://www.espn.com/

Scroll down four stories and you have the Blazers winning the 4 OT game.

Well it got top billing on SC after it was over. Probably has more to do with how late game went, East Coast just don’t care

Sure it got top billing right after because the game was on ESPN. But if LeBron had been involved they would be pushing it every minute until the next game and even during the next game.

Fact is the Blazers have been providing more thrill than any other team in the playoffs to this point.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
It was a great game and a great win, but the thing that bothered me was the overtimes largely boiled down to offensive possessions with no scheme to speak of--Portland was utterly dependent on Lillard, McCollum (and, at the end, Hood) hitting high-degree-of-difficulty shots (granted, Hood's last shot was a good one, but it came after a very difficult one from McCollum that missed and then a remarkable rebound and pass by McCollum). They hit enough of them, obviously, to win--but they kept almost losing because they had a ton of empty possessions where Lillard or McCollum just fired up crazy shots that missed. Usually after dribbling the ball into the floor for most of the possession and, at most, getting a screen or two before firing.

They needed more of an offensive plan. I realize everyone's tired, but that's the worst time to demand individual heroics over and over and over (as opposed to a single shot)--difficult shots become even more difficult with tired legs and arms. Denver got a number of easier baskets during the overtime and it wasn't because Portland's defense was poor.

Houston needs to do something. Both the teams in our series are gonna kill each other while GS cruises to an easy series win. Neither Denver nor us will have anything left for the next series

Tiny sample + hindsight. If we knew in advance who is going to shoot hot or cold we would never lose. On average, taken over a large sample, when Aminu shoots he's more efficient than CJ so I'm optimistic when he does get his typical shot (3's and drives).

This is the Playoffs. It's not a small sample size any longer. Bring up Aminu's numbers in the last three games? When you are talking about a seven game series 3 games is about 43% on the games that could be played. If the series goes less than 7 games it is even more.

Small sample. Aminu in the playoffs is more efficient than CJ in the playoffs.

I call BS. Blazer fans are just like Canadians that have to do it doggy style to watch the hockey game.

Last night or 3 games or even 10 games is a small sample. Players go 20 games shooting 25% from 3 and then go 20 games shooting 55% from three. That's variance. Making decisions about who should shoot based on tiny samples & variance is not smart.
