You guys raped us. That makes 3 international prospects we've lost so far.http://www.nba.com/raptors/news/release_061507.html
I really hope he can play swingman, because he could be a viable one at that. Hes been solid off the bench for the Pistons, and have always liked his game. I just want to see him drive more. To add, I think because is trying to aquire a center more than anything now, hes not traded Mo Pete or anyone else for that matter for one. I know Bargnani is a good filler, but we need a backup, or even better a starting center.
I think Delfino's a solid player and a hard worker. Just more international flavor to the team, and I think Dixon will be on his way out now.

I'm not sure if Delfino has fill the Small forward void, but certainly a shooting guard one.The Raptors are already VERY deep..this only helps.
Wwaaawaaweewaa, Colangelo's already gotten to work ..Can't wait to see how this guy fits into our offense system. Any Detroit fans want to fill us in on how Delfino is?
Well I haven't seen him play a whole lot. It's going to be interesting to see how he does in a Raptor uniform.
Hm, I think Detroit did a nice trade here. Got a few 2nd round picks for a guy that didn't play much of a big role in their team's success. At least, IMO he didn't.
Delfino is an interesting player and I think Toronto just might be the place for him to breakout. He's a nice shooter and scorer, plays the 2 and the 3, and is a good ballhandler. Not too sure about his defense though.
What most people dont look at, is that Colangelo got Delfino for next to nothing. Hes making this team very deep, something he didnt do in Phoenix, espicially with only a 8 man rotation. (6-7 for the playoffs) He just needs to pick up a starting 3 and a servicable Center. Our lineup will then look likeG: Ford/Calderon/MartinSG: Parker/Delfino/another swingmanSF: Garbajosa/Delfino/another swingmanPF: Bosh/Garbajosa/HumphriesC: another center/Bargnani/Jorge or Bargnani/another center/GarbajosaThese can obviously get mixed up. This would allow us to trade Dixon Mo Pete, and Joey for something more. Hopefully servicable role players. We just need another forward and another center and the roster should be very well stacked.
because has a nack for finding hidden talent and thats basically what Delfino is. because expects him to thrive in our system and break out which a lot of people are saying. This also a low risk move so that helps. I don't think there is need to trade players for the sake of trading. because likes having all that depth you don't just trade for the sake of trading. because has a plan and Graham and Peterson are gone before Dixon.
This is a good trade for us..it allows Parker to play less minutes while having Carlos take up some minutes at the 3 spot.

Off the bench he is entirely too inconsistent (hot/cold). He takes stupid shots, ,that don't even give a chance at an offensive rebound. He seems to resort to taking alot of outside shots when he is good with the ball going inside. When Dumars drafted him, he fit a need but he never developed into that scorer off the bench that the Pistons will address this draft.
I think Detroit is trying to get younger rather than risk trying to continue with one of the oldest rosters in the league to win a championship and this is one of the best offers they got to get younger. The problem with Detroit is they aren't very deep and rely on their small rotation. They're eventually gonna have to start building around Prince and Hamilton becuase Billups will be gone soon, Webber's career is on the tailend as well as Wallace.I like how Detroit has drafted in the past few years though with Amir Johnson and Jason Maxiell
Funny, how all the Raptors fans are getting hyped over Delfino. All you will find in him, is the occassional 3 pointer, not very good defense, and overall inconsistency. Enjoy. In my eyes, we raped you guys. Those 2 second rounders, have guys that have potential to be good. Deflino isnt going to get any better.

You guys will be building your team in a couple of years, we'll be contenders.
You guys seem to be pretty damn cocky about your Raptors. Those two picks have the potential to be good players.Carlos Delfino does not.
What and the hell are the Pistons thinking with this move? Is their something about Carlos Delfino that we don't know about? I really don't understand the logic in this move....I know Delfino isn't the greatest player.....you'd think Detroit wouldn't mind having him for depth.
Nice. I think he's a pretty good young player. He's hardnosed and he likes to be aggressive and drive the basketball, and he's got an okay shot. How's his defense Piston fans?
