<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Lakerfans (Everywhere): With the word out of LA that the asking price is too high for JO what happens? Does Indy come down or is a 3-way deal going to be needed to team Jermaine up with Kobe? Chris Sheridan: The best rumor I heard out here was that the Lakers had turned their attention to acquire Shawn Marion in a sign-and-trade involving Luke Walton, another player and the Lakers' pick, which I'm told the Suns would use on Spain's Rudy Fernandez. David (DC): Is Walton and a low first rounder all the Suns could get for Marion? That sounds like not nearly enough. Chris Sheridan: No. As I said, there would be another Laker player in that deal, probably Kwame. Christopher (Phoenix, AZ): Marion for Walton, Kwame and a mid round pick? You've got to be kidding me! If S. Kerr begins his reign as Suns GM that way he'll get booed out of Phoeinx. Chris Sheridan: I'm telling you what I'm hearing. I'm not casting judgements on whether that would be a good trade for PHX.</div>Luke Walton, Kwame Brown and a mid round pick for Marion ugh why not have the Suns throw in Barbosa for Radmanovic as well. It is stuff like this why Marion goes off on those rants about not being respected. :no3:

um...... hello?... Lakers?.... are your brains home.... I guess not because this has to be THE STUPIDEST MARION TRADE RUMOR EVER and there have been a lot of stupid ones over the past 3-4 years. If that is the best rumor Sheridan has heard out of the Lakers organization then at this point the Lakers are becoming really desperate. What do Kwame and walton do for us? Kwame gives us a 2-bit, undeveloped, selfish, version of a player we already have (Amare) .Walton, actually, Walton might do good with us, but by no means is he a match for Marion.

I saw this on ESPN, and it's ludicrous. How does this benefit the Suns, who are looking to get better by trading Marion? It doesn't. The Suns get nothing in return that will help them. I don't know if it's because he was playing behind Nash and Amare, but he just doesn't seem to get the respect he deserves.

I will be very angry if this actually were to happen. We would get no improvement in this trade at all. Just another player in Kwame that we wouldn't use off the bench and Walton would be like a lower form of Marion.
